yes a ton of narcs will erase the pain but you can only lose so much blood before your muscles and brain say I QUIT and no amount of coke in the world will make that moment happen even a minute later
aka if this happened in real life Tony wouldve dropped and be mumbling gibberish and dead before he hit the water.... not dancing around like that ...still a great scene though 😅
@@spg1794here was actually a shootout in 1986 miami where both the feds and these drug dealers took multiple hits from assault rifles & still continued fighting, the body js alot more resilient than most people think, its a famous story look it up
The pride of man and his massive ego was his downfall Frank was right about everything Sosa sent a hit squad but if he had stayed low key and quiet he would have had it all see Frank was teaching him how to survive long term but all went down because of bad business there are no friends in the drug game and only losses nobody wins.
@@brandonwilliams5526The restuarant scene when he says 'is this it? Is this what i worked hard for?' Says everything. He should have listened to Frank and stayed lowkey. Frank was living a lavish enough life. He had a beautiful woman, no conflict with other drug dealers, a lovely home and anything you could have wanted and he spent a long time in the game and knew alot about it. Tony of course thought he knew better but you started to see as he rose in power that he and Manny were way in over their heads and actually didnt know alot. More money came with more problems and Tony was still a little fish compared to Sosa who Frank warned him about aswell, the scene where Sosa and the politicians use Tony to do their dirty work is where he truly realised that Frank was maybe right about Sosa.
@DBoyJR187 I totally agree with you on that all that money and lavish life glitz and glamour doesn't mean shit if it ain't making you happy and ain't bringing you any happiness and for the love of money it cost him everything including his life and his sisters and the ones that suffer is his love ones
@@DboyRed This is why I liked Tommy so much in Vice city , he stayed low key until he figured out everything then he took the whole city plus the north because once Sunny fell the Forelli were going down hill
In the german version, he said "Seht,Ich schlucke alle eure verdammten Kugeln!" - back translated : "See I swallow all your damned bullits!" Iconic too and every german wannabe Gangsta kiddie knows this sentence!
Somebody should reenact this scene with Tony fighting the henchmen in the style of Home Alone 😂 Tony using the same shit that Kevin used against Marv and Harry 😂😂
Thanks to all of that cocaine Tony snorted. It gave Tony that adrenaline rush that he needed. Had it not for that buttwad Skull who had to sneak up on Tony from behind Tony would have survived and then went down to Bolivia and take out Sosa. But then again, we never would've gotten the video game that came out in 2006
His downfall was lack of control of his emotions. With Manny (anger rage) His sister ( wanted no one to be with her) Sosa (emotional over the targets) Evy (controlling and cold). Damn this is an awesome movie
actually you are wrong... his downfall was because he did the RIGHT thing and not kill those kids in the car.. shows that only real monsters survive and Tony had a heart (his downfall is because he had morals not the other way around) shows that only the really bad survive..(like sosa)
@@youngpolar In moral sense his decision to act right caused his death. In narrative concept he decided to act based on whim of that moment (emotion) and it bit his arse in form of Sosa and his partners being pissed off. Every decision that bites decider's rear in Scarface is made on emotional motivation and it doesn't just apply to Toni.
I really felt for the Chi Chi he was Solid and always a good attitude and the way he went out was just unfortunate. Great movie though lots of lessons to learn from
Ya i agree with u that was the one part of the movie that made me mad he should've opened the door for chi chi then tje ending would've been different him and tony would've killed all of Sosas men and the 2 of them could've been alive at the end but regardless its still a good movie tho @saramurphy8629
The hear is from the barrel of the rifle after those mag dumps. Even blanks will heat up the barrel enough to glow if you put enough through there. Source: my time in the Army.
Man same here, My pops showed me this movie back in 04' and I was only 4yrs old at the time, I didn't know anything about Scarface but I seen the old school vintage movie Scarface posters that I would see at my uncle's house and at the dollar stores, and collectable shops. My pops told me "son, your gonna love this movie and afterwards your gonna want to have a Scarface poster in your room." No soon I watched it with him I was blowed away! I loved it, I loved everything about it, the rise and the fall of Tony Montana, his Wild hothead temper that made him a big kingpin in Miami, getting the money and His M16. I was 6yrs Old at the Time when They announced the video game too, and yes I had it, Played the FUCK out of that damn game for days and hours, it made me felt like this movie made My Childhood Awesome and Dope! I'm 24 years old now and I got 2 Scarface figure statue collectables just to keep em when I have my own child someday.
@@slanetroyard92 Yet, he's a hypocrite just like most drug lords. They won't directly kill women and children but the product they push results in the deaths of countless children across the global.
One sick af shootout won't correct a lifetime of wrongs. If this judgment day concept were considered real, Tony has some real problems coming his way. Much bigger problems to worry about than a few holes in his chest.
Technicolor always had the best Color palette. The shiny glittery objects, Gold gilt, leather and red decor pop. Imagine if this film was made in deluxe or Metrocolor it wouldn’t have had the same ambience
It was actually superior. One of the few examples of the quality of something actually decreasing with technology. But the financial incentive of ditching dye I guess was too tempting
Still we have garbage quality now, thanks to the bs digital cameras as opposed to the film ones that gave us that unexplainable amazing image back then before the late 2000's . Such film image was sure damn good even in the 90's
I love how he covers her ears/face when the shots fire at chichi, shows both his true love for his sister and his mind being so broken that he would protect a dead body from hearing the violence.
Not quite. Yes, the two names were the creators of the original film, but the movie itself wasn't about Al Capone. When the original movie came out, Two of Capone's men approached Ben Hecht and demanded to know if the movie was about Capone. Hecht told them it wasn't. So they asked him "why is it called Scarface then?" And Hecht replied "So everyone will think it's about him. That's the racket we call show business!" The gangsters left him alone after that.
The most iconic in my opinion is from Manhattan by Woody Allen "See talent is a gift, what really matters in life is courage" If you think about it, deeply you will be introduced into philosophical and even existential thoughts.
@@ballwreck1139 hell no that quote sucks it’s just some ‘inspirational’ bs, it’s just saying some people are born talented but if you have work ethic you could possibly become better than them
Old times when Hollywood knew how to make awesome movies. No CGI, no fake emotions, no ideological bullshit. Only good acting and practical effects. Old, but gold.
What is it ? Progressivism ? Capitalism? Socialism ? I am sorry I missed it. For me it was a typical shakesperen tragedy where a man's flaws , ambitions , doubt lead him to. Self destruction . Every one he cares for is destroyed too . The great tragedy of tony Montana. 😢
"Scarface"(1983) is a Gangster movie masterpiece! This is one of the 5 best movies of all time for this Kind! The ending scene of the movie was very intense!
Pretty sure he had more guys in his crew in the street moving the yayo for him etc, that was just the inner circle guys close to him, also did you see how he went out? he took out 10 times more guys than any crew would have by himself lol, dude was a one man army lol...
The fact that he was tweaking and thinking he saw something the irony lol I wonder what was going through his coke head in that moment of seeing his last loyal man die on his door on camera
Just thought of something... how cool that for an 80s movie, they made it so the hero actually had to reload. I was watching Rambo the other day and the dude had unlimited ammo lol.
Scarface. The film is a legend. I wish there was an alternate ending where Tony survives and a second part.👏👏 no one could have played it better than Al Pacino
What do you think he's going to do when I don't come up with the first 5 million send me a bill?. He's going to send the f****** hit squad that's what he's going to do and Frank was right
@@whitneywilliams317I wouldn’t say he was in love with her id say she was the only thing pure and innocent in his life which is why he had such a issue with manny being with her Becuz he didn’t want her involved in that life..or involved with anyone associated with it
Individually speaking, Tony had far more balls than Sosa. Sosa would never go out like this if cornered, with his polished, Ivy League educated punk ass. Tony was from the streets and a real goon. Yeah, Sosa was a huge boss with far more power, but as an individual man, Sosa was a straight up punk.
Tony may have been from the streets but he had morals, Sosa was the Devil, Frank warned Tony about sosa, Tony didn't have what it took to roll with sosa if he did he would have been Alive !!
You don't see it my friend...Sosa IS Sosa and Tony is a ghoon who found a twisted American dream...because of Sosa. Point is that Sosa won't ever be 'cornered' like Tony. Sosa is an underworld kingpin and yet an aristocrat at the same time. As such, I wouldn't be surprised if he spoke VERY formal Spanish. Those are the scariest dudes, period! Hell, that's Baine from the Batman comics. "Ah, senor Batman. Como estas?" Similarly in the French Caribbean, they speak French instead of Creole when they're big s***. Again, not the type of dudes you want to mess with.
If he played as safe as frank, then he would not have been as involved as taking out an activist but the final quote is the higher you rise, the haorder you fall.
Had it on the XBox, absolutely loved it. You knew right at the start of the game you had to turn around and take out the assassin with the shotgun before doing anything else!
@@mohammedashian8094 No dude. The movie clearly shows an infatuation Tony has for Ginna that borders sexual desire. This is shown when Gonna, before getting shot to death by one of the Goons, tells Tony to fvck her, since she knew all along, ever since childhood most likely, that he wanted her.
@@Mrhostil95 what in god’s green earth makes you say that? He just doesn’t want her in this shit that he’s in. I haven’t seen anything that implies that she was clearly on sedation drugs saying all that. She was the last pure and innocent person in his life
I have the movie Scarface just can't get enough of watching it and playing it on my PlayStation 2 because Scarface will always be a true classic standing by it's ownself! Oh yeah in both the game & movie " Say Hello too my little Friend"! But on the PS2 game gotta love another catch phrase Tony Montana say's I'll give you a one way ticket to the fucking resurrection!
One Of My Favorite Movies Of All Time “Al Pacino” Delivers An AMAZING Outstanding Performance He Took The Character “Tony Montana” To A Whole Nother Level Facts
I like how no one takes cover, pretty much like bad game AI. Tony can take a whole clip of bullets without a problem. Must've been packing some health potions.
@@jackhajal1806tony should've opened the door for chi chi then he would've had. A better chance to survive that part made me mad when he didn't open the door for chi chi tje ending could've been better if he opened the door for chi chi the 2 of thej would've survived
Even though Tony died it showed how much of a coward Sosa is compared to Tony because Sosa sent like 50 hitman instead of going himself since he was the only one out of all those men who actually had a problem with tony. But then again if sosa went and Tony saw him there Tony would inmediatly shoot Sosa or shoot him wiith the grenade launcher and kill him.
Sosa's not a soldier, he's a white collar criminal who oversees a drug empire. He uses his intelligence in making calculated moves. He easily just hires who he needs for foot soldiers.
