That's a biblical verse, and and so real. I've lived that life, I was scared to make a baby, behind my lifestyle. I don't want to hurt my child, behind my shit.
When scarface said "i often wish that i could help everyone, but I'm a dreamer".I felt that, lord knows some days we could barley help our own self. Just "SMILE" i guess.❤
Pac Lyrics is something serious brah, pay attention to his aggression, flow, word play, pattern dude just was diff and ahead of whoever time (my fav) hands down
Ahead of what time? Rappers were 7 trilllion times better in the 1990s than they have been in any generation afterwards. And I actually mean 7 trillion. That’s not an exaggeration at all.
@@HT-sm9dm No exaggeration. Stop with the ahead of the time crap. You kids need to come up with a different saying. It's excellence. Saying he was ahead of his time is say A. At the time, rappers were lesser and B. Today rappers are better and he's of this time. He's definitely not of this horseshit time. And like the one homey said, lyricists were 4 trillion times better back then. No exaggerating
It's not a tupac song! Scarface and remember pack was booty shaking with didigital unground 2 year's prior to this song😅. He was never a gangster or real! Just a wankster that was punked by shug! Made great music I give him that but you need to get off your knees and stop swalling
The main content message executed in smile is that PAC & Scarface put a smile in our hearts by pouring their souls into such a wonderful masterpiece jam for all generations to witness real hiphop
The Geto Boys and Scarface were one of the coldest rap groups out there at the time. Scarface said some deep stuff that resonates with me to this day. Peace!
No anger, no beef no excitement. Just pure talent at its best. You were sent, delivered the message and quickly went to be with God and all the righteous. You are surely missed. Peace
Deep how 2Pac music is still relevant 2020! There are times I've suffered shipwreck in my journeyss: In perils of false brethren; In perils of my own design. Yet, from these perils comes knowledge: Only from within may we truly shine. -Rest In Power!
@@Jitterpvp-lw1jh this song came out after pacs death which makes it all the more emotional pacs is by no means overrated he is the king of rap just like elvis presley was the king of rock
Every Pac verse was always verse was delivered like a sermon. He put his soul into every bar he spoke. His lyricism was something serious. Iconically Pac predicted it all, stuff we see today making it hard for us to smile but we find ways to put a smile anyway!
This is what started the whole investigation into his death and all the RU-vid channels making millions the 2pac alive theory lead to everything we know about the whole Vegas thing
Facts lol. I was 16 when this dropped and I cropped the album - Untouchable. Pac being crucified and then released, fuelled the rumours that he hadn't died and the fact of whether it's him in the video. Lol
This is probably the greatest video ever made.....its a a work of art....the symbolism and image of Tupac being both crucified and subjected to judgement/punishment is deep.
You know that bro pac is the rap god period and he will never be topped period he will always remain completely untouchable and timeless until the end of time end of story R.I.P pac one love from SE London ❤🐐🙏
RIP Pac and Johnny P. This song was an instant classic. I always wanted to hear Pac and Face on a joint together. My two favorite emcees when this came out. I always thought they’d be on some grimy ish together but this was PERFECT!
Damn! Can't get enough of this classic song from the genius himself. The beats is just mind blowing. Smiles all over my face as l was reminiscing listening to it in those good old days as a teenager.
When you feature Pac on a song off your album, you let him do two verses. My fav music video of all time. The song is a complete masterpiece. Tupac should have been on that stage at the super bowl last week.
This was Tupacs song and he put scarface on it. He originally had the outlawz on it. After Pac died Scarface requested if he could put the song on his album.
97-released several months after PACs death. I was 19-loved hip since about 88 was I was 10. Faces last verse is bone chilling. Songs like this are immortal
PAC the poet! I cry every time I hear and feel the 1st verse…. Rest in power to my brother Darnell Benson who was murdered by the San Francisco police department. My family never got justice in this world. But we will get spiritual justice!!
As a 6th grader at the time of Pac’s passing, I remember the discussions about him still being alive because of this video, along with many other theories. I still have this single on CD.
Since first hearing this song, something deep from within began to resignate; these lyrics are extremely thought provoking, which is what I believe Pac intended. In addition, there are sibliminal messages contained within the video itself. Although his primary message is clear; for black people to remain upbeat through times of store, we also need to be reminded of what he stood for... the unification of his people. For me, that is the true essence of this song.
@@Q.BillzUnsensored I feel believe he could be alive to, I also fe like mj is alive. These people are not normal stop idolizing them even mj came to his own burial
Always loved this song. Haven’t heard this in over 15 years. My mom just passed away suddenly and then I heard this on the radio. Ending with Scarface describing the soul heading to heaven…….. damn that hit me hard yo
Everybody thought 2pac was still alive bacc then cuz his messages was so strong but when i heard face said say a prayer for da homie pac it fxxx me up my boi really gone but his messages an wat he was saying lives on i still listen to Pac im 40 now i was about 15 when he die i cry.....R.I.P i really miss em days.
Perhaps the greatest music video ever created. The layers of imagery and allegory are many, like an onion. Backed by one of the greatest songs. Perfect.
