Towards the holiday season I'll be running a more streamlined play through of The Scarface Remasterd Project, one which will be a little more free flow with lot's of running and gunning. I wanted the first play through to serve as the cannon play through where I attempted to replicate all of Tony's movements from the movie, lots of walking, smack talking etc. The next one will be balls to the wall carnage. In the meantime, here's a quick splice up of clips from this current play through with one of the most iconic songs of the Scarface Soundtrack. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7RJ9afp7GAA.html
@@slimeballgrizz2265 Unfortunately I don’t post too much to YT anymore. It isn’t worth all the effort due to the algorithm. I’m posting to IG and TikTok now in reel form since my videos do well there. My last couple of Scarface videos got 300 - 400 views at most, maybe even less.
@@samuraijack1920 maybe because alot of us were kids playing this aswell as San Andreas and all the other games we shouldnt have been playing at that age lol
@@michaelvega2836 i played san andreas as a kid and gta 5, but tbh i wouldn’t watch scar face if was young, even if i want to. i would watch the movie before playing the game tbh
@@michaelvega2836 and? i was 8 playing manhunt, and max payne. these games are the legit childhood games, and ofc you would watch the movie lmao, it came first.
Still has to be one of the coolest intros ever to a video game. Anybody who hasn't played Scarface hopefully this game actually comes out and the world can see how amazing that game was
@@SilentProtagonist-Au it's so funny after seeing Scarface about a million times as soon as the intro was over and it was into the gunfight I immediately turned around and lit that mother f***** up with the shotgun
This is so beautiful. I have an Xbox one but I literally still have my 360 hooked up so I can play Scarface. This game is so amazing and was so underrated. And to see someone taking time out to be putting the love and compassion it deserves is so awesome. I grew up with Scarface and the developers have my respect. Thank you for sharing this.
I remember for years i had the OG xbox hooked up in the spare room just for scarface. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, let's hope we get some sort of reboot in the future. I'm happy to see so many fans of the game too and not just the movie. Such an underrated gem.
This looks great!!!! I just started playing the old ps2 version and was talking to my brother how i wish theyd remaster this game, only critique and dont take this personal at all i seriously love this and couldnt do any of this myself but is to make the tiger more orange, this game was so ahead of its time and the concept is awesome, survive the end of the movie, loose everything and start from nothing, currently have just over a million and man you really feel accomplished going from having no money making a couple thousand her and there to moving kilos and buys exotic cars, also the “pimp my mansion” is one of my favorite features, it could definitely ve reworked so it is easier to place stuff kinda like how call of dutys prop hunt works but this game was so ahead of its time, keep up the great work I can’t wait to see how this keeps progressing!!! Have a blessed day anyone reading this!
100 percent agree with you on the tiger. This isn't my mod, only the Reshade is a custom one that i made. The mods i've created are mainly for the GTA series, this games alot harder to mod. Such a great game though it definitely needs a remaster. Im glad that so many still love it, it's one of the greatest movie based games i've ever played.
Damn I want to play this game again so bad, wish they did a remaster of some sort or even a remake would be historical, it’s one of the most iconic movies/characters ever, it would surely be a juggernaut of a game.
Is this an actual project or just a pipe dream? Either way it’s a great job! I had nostalgia overload watching this! Have a lot of great memories playing this game when I was 10 years old with one of my best friends in his basement! I’m 21 now and I remember this game! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it, It's really such a great game. The mod itself has already come a long way, have a look at some of the earlier versions for comparison. I spoke to one of the lead developers yesterday and they're constantly working on it.
If any game deserves a remaster it's definitely this one. Just wish this could get a console re-release but that's a pipe dream thanks to licensing issues and such.
Did this mod mess with the music? That's honestly a bit of a downside seeing the first part because the sountrack really kicked but all throughout, and it had a rocking start with the moment it diverges from the film.
Which part was different? I hadn't noticed at all. The music is the exact same as i remember, particularly in the first scene during the mansion shootout.
I literally started my 9th playthrough on my old ps2 2 days ago. aboslute legend of a game, and this mod looks really good. love too see you upload more of this.
One of the best games ever made and if rockstar do a job like they have on GTA San Andreas I'll be very happy. Still play this game on the original Xbox. Warriors also need this kinda love.
came here after the GTA tragedy they want seriously 60$ for the old piece of shhheeht. Hoping scarface will get one day proper Remake with future dlc and more content ! Bur unlike gta5 with these dlc payments after payments online kiddie crap
I LOVED this game!!!! It was so addictive because the further you got the more and more money you made. I remember when I first started playing this, when I'd make a couple 100 grand. I was like "damn!!" Then by the time you get to the end you making $30,000,000+ on each coke run from all your fronts all over Miami. Also, it's so violent!!! You can shoot people's limbs and heads off and see these body parts on the ground. All Tony's mannerisms are in it and the things he says is hilarious!!!
I agree man i completely forgot how good it was until i started playing it again. I just made it to the island, got the cartels chasing me trying to kill on site.
Vice city took a lot from Scarface, not the other way around, it set the context in the 80's in the movie, and this game is just scarface with the same outfit (the one with the bathub scene) from the movie when Tony start (in this game we suppose that he killed the assassin and have to restart from the beginning because he lost everything), but most of the game is more about creating an empire like in the movie with gore and macromanagement and good gunplay, not making sidequest for spmeone with disney like crime and sarcasm and parody like in GTA. I guess you never saw Scarface.
On my PC it only uses 1 core and barely manages 30 fps, i tried some fixes online but it didn't work. This is vanilla game, so do you think this mod fix compatibility issues?
Yes for sure. It was unplayable for me without the mod. I recommend watching a tutorial, you need to make sure you have the right version of Scarface too which most tutorials will provide a link to in the description.
I had the game on my external HDD for over a decade but it never worked before. Luckily enough i had the right version so i installed the silent patch + mod which finally got the game to run. Not to mention it looks so much better too, i could never play without it now.
It's crazy cause I don't even need a remaster I just wanna play on my ps4 or ps5 whenever I get it im literally about to buy a ps2 at this poin. it cost 145 on Amazon if you want a fresh disc.
If they dont remake this game imma bury those cockroaches Could u please make a vid how to install the mods bcs i already struggled installing the game itself hahaa
Hahaha I know the feeling, it took me awhile to get it running too. The game really doesn't play well with modern hardware. As for the tutorial this is a good one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MZ2e2pBSt94.html it's important to download the correct version of scarface too and the patches. Just follow the tutorial all the way through and you should have it running in no time.
Do you actually need to own the orignal game for this remaster? Or is the game included in the mod itself? Because it's pretty hard to get your hands on this game nowadays
4:11 You know everytime I play this in the first mission, I always kill the shotgun guy first because I wanted a alternate ending where tony survives. Lol
Whoa... This looks gorgeous. You see, I had the game on the fucking Wii because it was at the time the only console I had. It um... Didn't look all that good as you could imagine being it was on the wii. So seeing it shine like this is just amazing for me. I assume this project is for PC?
Haha i played it on the Wii aswell so i remember just how bad it looked. I then replayed it on the OG Xbox because i couldn't ever get it running on PC. I discovered The Remastered Project mod afew months ago and now i've been feeling nostalgia ever since. And yes unfortunately it's only on PC.
If this was really a remastered game it will always be out of stock this right here was a Freaking game please someone make this happen to all the Scarface fans
Damn I remember playing this game and accidentally messed up trading the yayo with one of the drug dealers and immediately getting chased by hitmen great times with this game
They really made you work for your money in these older games, even after doing it countless times i will still occasionally fumble the deal and end up having to shoot my way out.
You know how Dammnn Dope this game would be if it was remastered and also to have it online having yourself create a crew and take over the streets of Miami, that would definitely generate millions of $
I bought it when it came out. Played it. Completed it 100% and sold it right after that. Recently purchased it again and am playing it all over again on PS 2. Kinda stuck on one mission right now that I don't remember having this hard of a time completing. Still a good game. Always liked it.
@@SilentProtagonist-Au The Mexican pizza restaurant in South beach. Where you have to have the owners back. All other properties are bought and all the gangs their gone. 12 out of 12 balls and health upgrades. The owner keeps dying to quick on me. I end up getting frustrated so I just go to the islands and do work for the " Sandman " Run my Ya - Yo back to the store house then Distribute. 😆 I've been wanting to replay this game for the past 14 yrs. Needed a change from playing S.A. Which seems like forever.
I wonder if there's anyway of making this a kick-starter or to get in contact with the company who created this to make this a reality for consoles . I think it's Activision. Honestly this is amazing!
Compared to afew years back when i tried to run it, it was way easier this time around. The main thing is you need to get the right version of the game, it can't be the retail version. To install the mod + silent patch was pretty easy, especially if you watch a tutorial. Afterwards make sure you lock your framerate to 60, i did it through the Nvidia Control Panel.
So what is this a PC mod project because this game I can't believe has little to no mods for it, in my opinion it was up there with San Andreas back in the day, please keep me updated because I would love to play a remastered version of this game, the gameplay you're showing is the stock game using your control panel for your graphics card settings and upping your graphics through your graphics card other than that you haven't really messed with the game in general it's the same graphics on all high end PC's, my GeForce GTX looks identical to this and I have no mods installed
www.nexusmods.com/scarfacetheworldisyours/mods/6 Here's the mod link, it's receiving constant updates but I'm sure it's of no use to you since it all looks the same. Still, thought I'd share the link. Also I have my own ReShades on every game I play, I don't touch GPU sliders at all and you shouldn't either, use ReShade instead.
I remember coming out the bank on this game then immediately getting ambushed via drive by my man's tucked n rolled shid was the highlight of my gaming life 👌
For sure, along side The Warriors and The Getaway. I think the Getaway deserves a Mafia Definitive style overhaul, the story was one of the grittiest i played as a youngster.
