Got 20 Zapdos, 20 Alakazam, Japanese booster case, over 10 poster collection, couple booster bundles. Got the zap and Alakazam boxes or 30 Canadian and they are already at 65 cad just for the Alakazam boxes... I'm new to the hobby, been investing for 4 months. Been happier than I have been in 10 years.. this is a rush and in 10 years my kids college may because for.

@@NorbertNahumEvreuklovic to tell you the truth, I don’t really know enough about Korean 151. If you can get it for at or under MSRP, have the disposable income and a sound investment strategy, than I’d say go for it.
I'm a teacher in the U.S.A. in Florida. I started poke investing this summer and dived fully in and your channel has definitely been my favorite to follow. In late June/July and a touch in August I got heavily into Twilight Masquerade (2 sealed bb cases and a case of 40 booster bundles), 151 UPC's and booster bundles, + more, and some paldean fates as well as 151's big 3 in raw. Also got a few lost origin, CR, ES, and FS booster boxes. Definitely glad I did. In just the last 2 months the return on investment has been great. Thanks for all you do man.
It's only skyrocketing solely due to the scalpers and hoarders. If they weren't buying it all up at start, there would be plenty around for normal consumption.
Yea my 151 sealed investment has gone up a solid $400 in the last month. Wish i had bought more but, i bought what i could afford at the time. Lots of growth to come!
FOMO is real. It is better to take what you learned with 151 and apply it to future sets than to risk losing money on a price spike right before the holiday season.
Yeah people always chase things they missed out on and then end up missing the next thing. Surging Sparks PC ETB's are the next one for me. Got loads of 151 from a year ago.
This is great advice - I missed out in 151 (😢) but made up for with Surging Sparks and purchased 3 cases of BB sealed preorder for $600 each. I’m tired of trying to guess the market. Just make your investments at each release and be prepared to hold. I’ve been doing that since SW&SH with most sets and it will pay off.
In August I completed the COMPLETE 151 illustration rare - Hyper rare in PSA 10 Slabs. In August the slabs alone were valued at $3,254.19. As of this comment the slabs are worth $3,861.61
@@monkey39128 I told myself I wouldn’t sell and keep for my personal. The slabs are all covered by GradedGuards, and UV screen protectors inside a Zion case with Silica packets
Is this real... If it is,it definitely costed you some thousands BUT amazing job. After a decade this will be absolutely crazy. If it s currently 3 k and something,it ll be around 10 k ,unless people get paranoid again for gen 1 so it might be around 40 k lol

I wasn't able to get any sealed of the english version. It's almost always sold out in my country, and I'm afraid buying thru Amazon. Still waiting for the reprint. Hope it's massive to give chance to everyone
The fact is, 151 identifies with old and new collectors. The original starters and IR/SIR additions makes it fun. I am going to build the original 3evolutions.
There won’t be a reprint, they know the new sets are strong enough to get people buying cards. Surging sparks looks good. Team rocket will be the chance for people who missed out on 151 to go harder than ever. This feels like the wotc days again. I’m glad to have an etb and the alakazam 😂
The singles were just too cheap, compared to the sealed price, so something had to give. I was confused for a long time, I knew it would go up because demand is so strong still.
I thought I was an idiot for completing the set too early within 6 months of release. All sealed products and singles were at their cheapest little did I know
You'd think Evolving Skies was a brand new set if you were a regular person walking into Collect A Con, you've never seen so much Evolving Skies in your life. You'll definitely have to pay a ridiculous amount for it, but it will never be hard to find sealed 151. Every Collect a Con for the next decade is going to have pallets and pallets and pallets of it. It's totally possible that the *majority* of the supply ever printed is still sealed.
I don’t blame people buying out these cards . Restocks have been limited and no news of reprints. I’m still trying to complete my master set. If there is a reprint I will buy sealed cases of most products for my own pc. Not even to resell I just like the artwork on the sealed products.
Btw. I saw some 151 reprint openings and reprint booster packs have different code card design that 1st print. 1st print has the older code card design with the Battle Styles booster, the reprint uses the current SVI base booster design. So in the future it may be interesting to see if there will be any differences in the price of 1st print vs reprint.
I have UPC X2, PC ETB x1, ETB x1 and about 80% of a master set which I will complete! I've opened maybe 2x ETBs and I think 2 or 3 UPCs plus about 4 BBs all at retail price at the time of release essentially. I even won a UPC in a giveaway! To see the growth now is crazy but I think it was always set to happen.
Yeah my man❤ the best set. 151=7,2023=7, pokemon=7, the japanese set has 7 cards in a booster, i knew 7 is the New grail 😂😂😂and the japanese 151 with the masterballs goes crazy when the years are going, that was the best idea ever. Look 151 japanese the masterset with the Total value😂
Opening a S&V pack after opening a SWSH pack is a really crazy feeling. The cards are so cheap feeling now, it's no wonder the PSA 10 rate is so low. The crazy thing is 151 is actually the best quality we have gotten this era.
I bought as much 151 singles slabs and opened as many boxes as I could afford on this set I saw on auction and could afford on ebay the past few weeks very happy with my gains ATM recently coming back into the hobby hard
I'll never understand why English didn't do the master ball reverse thing. I love them and still get Japanese bundles for them instead of English boxes
I really hope there's a big reprint, I need to pull another couple of zards, sold 1 for £85 months ago, 1 is in the binder but would be lucky to get a 7, sold sequential Charmander, Charmeleon and Charizard all graded at Ace 9 for £200 a couple days ago (Ace Grading, a UK grading company, created by Randolph, surely you know who he is).
I wish they did the booster box for English. Especially with the masterball foils. Those booster boxes would be crazy right now. I wish they wouldve given more of the pokemon from 151 some Justice. Like Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan, onix, rhydon, poliwrath,Arcanine. Honestly all of them. Just love this set.
Definitely 151 demand. If you missed retail and not willing to pay these prices or when/if they settle, however much that will be…then it’s ok. Move on, more sets to come
This Akalazam was the first " good " card from 151for me❤ So happy i pulled my fav pkmn. Today i pulled the ir bulbasaur,i have 3 boosters left... I hope i open some charizards😂 We ll see.
I pulled the special illustration Charizard ex and Venusaur ex not even two packs into my first booster box I bought of 151. Didn’t realize how lucky I was until I started seeing all the hype in the last week around 151.
I'm a big advocate for Japanese 151 but I'm so glad I hedged my bets and bought English as well. Both looking like solid bets. SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Uks restock hasnt happened yet..its due end of october so depending on how big ours is, be interesting to look again in a couple months . But can see it all just eaten up anyway
@@monkey39128 Yeah we saw what happened with Japanese 151. USA probably won't reprint quite at that level, but it will surely reprint I would think. They may just keep restocking the booster bundles and tins though, it's hard to say.
151 is a boomer and gen x set, you can let them all trade and sell to one another and keep out of it Surging Sparks will be way better. You don’t buy off the boomers and gen xers you just don’t. You buy the stuff they don’t have now that’s the investment.
Drop the hate on my favorite Charizard card 😤 But really I randomly got back into this hobby about 6 weeks ago, currently ive opened 200 packs of 151, And have multiples of all the secret art rares except for Venusaur. Can't believe I actually managed to buy in right before the boom for once
