I love how the visuals of her powers continued changing throughout her entire presence in the MCU. Originally it was just red mist and fog, then they added layers of white to show density and brightness, then the energy became really opaque in redness, and then in the final episode of WandaVision, layers of dark red and black were incorporated to show the witchy aspect of her powers.
Yes, but her being so underpowered makes sense, just wait until Doctor Strange 2. She hasn’t learned how to correctly use her magic, but since she absorbed agatha’s powers and read the Darkhold, Wanda will be unstoppable.
Comics also hold her back frequently for plot purposes. Idk why people love saying "omg this character is nerfed". They get nerfed regularly both in Movies and Comics because if they're guaranteed to win every fight with 0 risk then there is nothing to be invested in. It's not interesting to watch.
For me, the characters who had the most graceful and natural flight in Marvel movies have been : Magneto, Wanda, Vision, Ikarus, Agatha, Strange and Jean. But I also like the ones who use technology. They just have a different feel. Like : Iron Man, War Machine, Wasp, Falcon and Star Lord. There are also people who ride a flying craft : Valkyrie, Ant-Man. Then there is Thor, who just throws his hammer and it pulls him off.
@@starlite8348 pretty sure its the later the darkhold is probably enabling her to acheive a heightened sense of focus and with her connection to the twins enable her to hear them from presumably across dimensions
If that were to happen I think Wanda would win.She could manipulate Dr.Strange into fighting himself. But then again,Dr.Stone has the time stone.I’d definitely would want to watch Dr.Stone and Scarlet Witch battle.
@@9pranav this isn’t true. The show says point blank that Wanda’s powers are greater than the supreme. She just doesn’t know how to use magic practically. Everything she’s done so far is instinctive
@@SethRGray yeah that was before she read the darkhold. She'll have a more mastery now since there's a chapter in the darkhold dedicated for her, but it might corrupt her mind. And I really want dr strange to be her mentor tho.
I can't believe that Wanda has Chaos Magic and on top of that! She absorbed Agatha's magic and Agatha absorbed the power of the 9 witches which means that, WANDA HAS CHAOS MAGIC, DARK MAGIC, AND THE MAGIC OF ALL 9 WITCHES
Not really, if she took Agatha's magic, then she would also sufdwr the same fate the witches had when Agatha absorbed their power. She would get old and wrinkly. From the looks of it, she only took a small part of her magic so Agatha can't be dangerous or get out from the role Wanda gave her. But most of the time she just took the power agatha absorbed that was only owned by wanda.
@@gg-ok9rg agathat took the witches magic and they turned wrinkly, Wanda took a bit of Agatha's magic and she remained the same for the most part. If she had taken any more, Agatha would have turned wrinkly , NOT Wanda
I like how the effects of her powers change based on the intensity of her spells. Like when she’s just using a little power, is just a faint red mist kind of, but when she’s going all out her magic is like black and dark like fiery smoke it’s so cool.
The funny thing is strange as all the ones mentioned plus 2 pages more.. hes stupidity broken.. and thats normal strange. Supreme strange can manipulate time as well as all dimensional energy that exist. Can create portals to anywhere in mcu multiverse. Etc hes pretty much the strongest version of sny mcu character thats not from the comics..
@@taiyo1990what??? She is a Nexus Being... In the comics she was able to change the reality of the entire multiverse. In the MCU she is the only character that reached this level of power (something achievable only with the infinity stones for example) and shes not even close of her true potential, WandaVision shows it.
@@taiyo1990 Umm they said one of the most powerful not the most powerful there's a difference ofc there's more powerful beings in marvel but they just said the Scarlet Witch is one of them they didn't say Scarlet Witch is the most powerful being in marvel
@@megawatisoekarnoputri9373 She has resistance to the phoenix force and even damaged it at one point in the comics so no Phoenix isn't stronger than her and if they'd have a battle I'd say she can stand a chance against it

Telekinesis Conjuration Transmutation Reality Manipulation Weather Manipulation Psionic Energy Manipulation Mental Manipulation Flight Chaos Magic Manipulation Time Manipulation Teleportation Telepathy Force-Field Generation Spellcasting Astral Projection Skills: Expert Combatant Weakness: Power Instability Weakness: Proctection Spell Weakness: Agathas Power Absorption Weakness: Losing Her Family
Well losing her family shouldn’t really count as a weakness. Because as we’ve witnessed time and time again, after losing those she loves, she grows more powerful. We saw it in AoU, Endgame, and now W&V.
I mean Wanda couldn’t stop agatha with low magic so the best thing for her to cast runes and btw those runes were op af and she said she didn’t have to like she can do it but she didn’t have to and remember Wanda was still not fully in control of her powers soo
Holy shit.....it's is just me that always get a goosebumps everytime Scarlet Witch theme song playing while she is transforming 😬😬😬....tell me I'm not the only one
Her weakness id say is her emotional vulnerability. But you could also argue that her passionate emotions increase her power, so that might be a strength. Who knows
@Deon Bailey not really if she's a glass cannon how did she survived thanks punch and plus she can do hand to hand combat she was trained by cap and nat rewatch thanks vs wanda
@Deon Bailey that happen when she doesnt know how to use magic right. plus she still mentally down after lose vision. but now she absorded agatha's power and read the darkhold. she prob can use her power to protect her self.
She doesn't need spells and incantations. She probably just hit the walls of her hex with her blast and thought of making protective runes similar to what she saw.
@@Tenshikichi1 lol no, Basically there is spells in mcu so if you think that Wanda did that without knowing the spell cast, she would not be able to do it so no 👎🏻
@@normasak0112 she has mastered probability hex, enchantment, mind control, and flight before wandavision and thought they were telekinesis powers. And agatha did said she used magic on auto pilot. It's not far fetched to think that she can use magic without spells.
Wait, what if the show "What If" is about Wanda playing with her magic and restarting the world to find the perfect one. And then, in Doctor Strange 2, they'll be raking in the aftermath of her experiments.
Ok somebody said that in endgame she only riped off thanos's armor and broke his sword but his armor and sword are made of uru and guess what storm breaker is made out of URU in conclusion wanda is the most powerful also she was tearing thanos's skin
Can Wanda erases Monica's memory when she throws Monica out of her reality? I think it can help her to keep situation in her reality more secret from outsiders
@@ChesterZirawin remember what agatha said? "scarlet witch has no coven, no need for incantation" which means if she wants to do a magic trick, she doesnt need to learn to do the spell, if she wants it thats enough.
@@quorie6598 She said she needs no incantation, meaning saying the words and doing the hand thingy to do them, it's a quick cast rather than a channeled ability, she still needs to know it, she just uses it faster. Nobody talked about how she doesn't need to learn. Why was she reading the grimhold at the end if not to learn
Cosmic Entities created the Infinity Stones. Just because Thanos got his big screen debut doesn’t change what happens in the comics. It’s obvious the Mind Stone has some sort of psionic and telepathic powers of its own. The Phoenix Force is the nexus of all psionic and telepathic abilities, including the Mind Stones. It is stated the Phoenix Force is present in every universe among the multiverse or else life ceases to exist. So even in this universe the Phoenix force is the cosmic entity who crafted the mind stone.
7:11 it’s not spell casting it’s runes | Runes = Runes are an alphabet that was used in Northern Europe before the eventual adoption of the Latin alphabet. Each rune has both a name and a sound, as well as a given meaning. "ᚢ," for example, is the Ur rune meaning "ox," or "water." Because of their imbued meanings, runes are sometimes used to try to read the future. But for her it was the type of rune where “ In a given space only the witch who cast them can use their magic “ as in they can’t use power in a given space . - A Serious Marvel Fan
but technically the hex is a reality, just not the one we're used to. so she's manipulating time within her own reality, therefore manipulating time (on a smaller scale) is one of the powers she possesses.
@@luvnatexo She isn't manipulating time, she can't turn time back or forward or stop it, all she did was make the inside of the hex look like it was in the 50s or any other decade with reality manipulation, they were never actually back in time. She changes everything and everyone's aspect and removed the color from the inside of the hex.
@@speedy744 anyone who warps reality can by default control time...stop trying to act smart when you know absolutely nothing. Ability to manipulate time and also space is reality control in a nutshell, that's the definition
I think she can control time but only in her hex and she can actually control time in the comics so ig they were just being true to her powers from the comics.
Did you see what? I don't know if you saw the Doctor Strange movie. But did you see there is a very different Wanda from the one we met in the previous MCU movies and in WandaVision? she that she was strong, she was an avenger and she was a superhero, very powerful. well WandaVision was the key is the answer to know the threatening behavior of Wanda that we see in the film. first of all her powers increased where she has no control of it. second that everything is due to the official transformation of her from The Scarlet Witch with the magic of chaos that dominates her, that slept inside her hers since she is not born from her but is forged to do so where her destiny would be the Destroy the world. That according to the words of Agatha when she describes that there is a chapter of her in the book of the damned, the Dark Hole. She also tells him that her powers are superior to the sorcerers supreme, especially the beloved Doctor Strange. but between her powers growing I think she happened something to Wanda. and the clue is that you watch wandavision especially the last final post-credit scene. where, as we know, once the Hex is released, Wanda leaves WestView towards some mountains where there is what Wanda is experiencing. because and there we begin to have a preview of what it is and there is talk for the first time about the multiverse and that of madness. She told them when the images show us a calm and serene Wanda having a coffee, where she rests because using her powers exhausts her a lot. then one sees her and says at last she has some peace. but not the image passes to this Wanda. but when the image goes to the room there is the other version of wanda but Scarlet Witch reading the Dark Hole that she took from Agatha to see if she could control her powers. but in the end it happens that the course of the series and the movie changes where Wanda listens to her sons Tommy and Billy calling her. then Wanda is possessed by the Scarlet Witch and by the Dark Hole. The one we see is the Scarlet Witch who is totally the villain of the film and not the good Wanda, in addition to recovering her children, she does whatever it takes and more than once we saw that the Scarlet Witch merges with Wanda. where she owns it. And the Wanda that we see with Tommy and Billy, that's the good Wanda that we know. She wanted to kill everyone if they didn't give her what she wanted, that's why she wanted to get the powers out of America Chavez, who is the one who travels like Wanda and Strange to the multiverses. And when America Chavez finds the courage to fight, she shows Wanda what she is. hers her children see her as a witch, a monster they get scared and reject her. That made him think how I did to get here. She did I think what Vision did, remember? she was she Sacrificing herself for me did that. and until there is more story to tell about Wanda the Scarlet Witch, we will be left with the doubt. but she must be alive
Anybody else notice how she basically saw Agatha do it and mimicked? Like she used Agathas tricks against her you could say. Like before in age of ultron her powers weren’t as exact when she mind warped the avengers and you can hear her using a spell on Agatha.
Btw she also has enhanced speed based on how quickly she went up to Agatha to mess with her mind and the teleportation was actually invisibility but I don’t doubt she wouldn’t be able to do that down the line it just wasn’t it this time
She looks really ravishing, as she's a magician's assistant. Is her telekinesis through magic or super powers? I prefer Scarlet Witch with the personality from before being in this series. I never thought that she had mental Manipulation powers or not, like her father, Magneto, and half sister, Polaris. Beautiful, where she's flying. Also beautiful, where she has a red headband, like Polaris, with a red outfit. Hope they'll be more of her that way in the show. Another thing, her half sister, Polaris, makes an appearances with the Avengers and their allies.
It's magic, she controls the chaos magic, she just doesn't know it and it acts the exact same way as if the powers were purely "superpowers" from an experiment. Also if you never thought she had mental manipulation then you didn't watch her first appearance in the MCU, because in Age of Ultron her most showcased power, and most used in the first half of the movie, was mental manipulation/telepathy, giving the avengers illusions installing fear in them.
Its not known where her telekinesis comes from but in the comics i think its both magic and high evolutionary enhancement. In mcu its both magic and mind stone enhancement
