Facts ❤❤ 🎉 he talking big facts I listen to him almost all the time I’m now and I get the meaning of songs they help me do my job to help me go to work. I listen to them when I’m doing my flyers I listen to them in the car. I’ll probably listen to them in the plane so this goes a beast. ❤
@@seesee5363 for non-musical people, his scream was considered smooth as he uses a vocal technique to suppress the tension and strain with his vocal chord by activating his false cord and amplifying it with years of practice. Most artists that scream a lot in their music have to apply technique so when they perform live, they don't lose their voice.
@Idk idk his music simply isn't relaxing by definition. It's a cathartic release which can feel the same, it releases pretty much the same chemicals in the brain as relaxing but it's nowhere near the same thing lmao
For me and my band, screams are just a way to express the intensity of the emotion. Yeah there's sometimes anger behind the words I'm writing, but usually it's just a way to express the intensity of whatever intense feeling I'm going through or writing about whether it's sadness, anxiety, insecurities, uncertainty, etc
Yeah, it's not even close to all I listen to but I appreciate screams and growls in music. It's just another vocal technique to add intensity and emphasis. Using screams to accent a word is really one of my favourite uses.
so true. people acting like screaming = anger is just as silly as thinking that tears = sadness. there are countless emotions that can be expressed through either action.
I will never not love scarlxrd. As cliche as it might be, his music helped me through a really tough time in life. Corpse, too. I listened to the both long before a year ago, but I remember "Misa Misa" came out when I was trying to balance moving, taking care of my dog, and spending every second I could with my fiance who was in the hospital because of a nasty car wreck. Scarlxrd, Corpse, and Ice Nine Kills really helped me get through that really shitty moment in time, which lasted nearly two months.
We freakin love the expressive, screamin music. I can listen to Scarxld or Ghostemane when I’m happy, sad, angry, tired… it’s just a mood, a way of feeling things inside and around you and you either completely get it or you don’t, and that’s also the beauty of it.
It's not that deep lmao. It's mostly just screaming with no musicality behind it, and even if you try to "listen" as he says, you can barely understand a word he says.. not that impressive. Music has really turned dow hill over the decades. Death metal is nearly the same, but at least they have real instrumentals.
@@OArchivesX maybe it’s not that deep for you but it is for me ! And deathmetal is also great just absolutely not the same thing. We need music for everybody and I think there’s a lot of great artists doing great music these days ;) just a matter of taste :)))))
@@Userusinutube if you think this is deep... I can blow your mind lol. It's good that some people enjoy it, as long as he's happy making it for himself, carry on. But definitely not going to sell anyone with a good ear on this being something unique or deep lmao. I also prefer to keep my hearing loss to a minimum, and I listen to a handful of genres Literally anyone can make music now with a computer, and it shows in quality of songs. Lyrics: mediocre, Melody: non-existent, Beat: mediocre. Let's get real
@@OArchivesX oof buddy. saying this has no musicality has a lot more to do with your own opinion than an actual fact on his music. let’s get real, you just listen to the same boring shit decade after decade and hate anything that has to do with change. if it’s so easy to do then try it yourself. if it’s not a challenge like you say and if it isn’t that deep then I can’t wait to hear whatever you decide to release to combat the growing “problem” you think we have when it comes to bad music 😂😂😂
If I had a pick genre of music/ style as an artist, it would be exactly like SCARLXRD because the balance of how to utilize your voice with the lyrics is what I like and enjoy. It's the emotional state of mind, and how you project is true art to me. It doesn't sound angry, just like how other people would say someone else sounds sad or soft. It's what their voices portrayed on what they wrote. Your real voice comes from your heart and protected out to people's ears who need to hear it.
Scar is the goat an the God of trap medal an rap no one can catch his speed or his scream love his music been listing to him for more than a few years ...he's a legend an everyone knows he can't be stoped ...gooo scarlxrd...he's tha best there is
When I play scar around my family they always say “he’s just screaming and yelling how can you listen to this” and I tell them to “actually listen and read the lyrics and then you’ll understand how”because like he said we’ve all been through things and his music has gotten me through alot
I mean, good for him. I hope his music touches people who need and relate to it. I'm a little put off by screams so I'm just gonna be in this other room...cool? Cool
Yeah, for me it's not so much that I'm put off by the screams, as much as sometimes I'm too tired and my brain just goes "man screaming at me can't deal move on".
He is literally doing metal vocals, that’s why it sounds “healthy” but at the same time, doing metal vocals you kinda have to warm up to it, you can’t str8 up start screaming, there’s a technique and you need to drink water or use something called a throat coat, bc it can wear down your voice if done incorrectly
It counteracts my anger, like a form of self expression without actually expressing anything, fight fire with fire, a neg neutralises a neg + your energy = ions
I find myself listening to him a lot when I’m depressed not when I’m angry I listen to death metal a lot to so it might be the reason I find his music comforting.
It’s amazing to see him years ago only having 100k views grow and finally say fuck It I’m gunna make myself known and he’s getting out there more and becoming way more of a bigger artist
Angry music is just sUch a huge stress reliever. If I’m ever in a really bad state where I’m irritable and my mood is unpredictable, angry/screaming music like SCARLXRD’s just helps to calm me down and get me to a better state. It also just kinda helps as a general confidence boost when I’m feeling very energetic and confident, jajaja. It’s very therapeutic
the 2nd vocal was very proper and full. You could tell how relaxed he was. The 1st scream was a bit forceful because it comes at full volume with no build up, as opposed to the 2nd scream which seems to rest in his vocal chamber a lot easier.
So I’ve been listening to him for understand his music and I understand where he’s coming from so every time and I’m like really depressed or I feel sad or I feel like I’m about to do something stupid or listen to his music and he makes me really happy and also he’s just like very relatable and also he’s cute too and he just makes my day like listening to his music just makes my day him and corpse and Kordhell they are like the best trio❤❤❤❤❤❤😢😅😊😊😊
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally someone says it!!! Just because it SOUNDS angry doesn't mean it is! I feel like it shows the inner pain e all feel but fail to express and this is a positive way to relate and feel & Vibe with others.
