Montse C looking back on this I can’t believe she was the only one in the group who genuinely got what was going on. In fairness to Sonja she is a good egg: to this day she can diffuse tension and fights....except when she falls down drunk at the table and almost knocks herself out....okay, even when she falls down drunk and almost knocks herself out, she still diffuses arguments.
And Sonya. Lord, she was a work of art, a masterpiece in this episode. The calm in the middle of the storm. The voice of reason. YES, Sonya....I wish Sonya would re-watch herself one these scenes - her brilliance and wisdom. Ramona....silenced....it is absolutely amazing, this episode.
I think Sonja behaved really well here. She worked out that Kelly was struggling with a mental health issue pretty quickly and was kind with her. Shame about the others!
She started off great but then the bully couldnt help itself lol. She started mocking her towards the end and talking about her as if she was not there
They treated Kelly as they would each other until they all realised something was amiss. Perhaps it took the sit down with Sonja, Sonja then translating to the women - who then took it in hand and behaved respectfully and with considered the appropriate attention, if not compassion. It took that evening for Kelly's mental illness to manifest wholly and with all present.

I didn’t even have to re-watch it to remember these classics. Let’s all hope Kelly gets the help she needs before she passes on.
Kelly needs a doctor clearly, she went to a hospital after this, I can understand why, she nuts sad to watch as she has kids to care for, either her kids are used to her behaviour or blind to it, there father should intervene, to give her a time out, she needs major help,
I still watch this over and over , Kelly to this day still doesn’t think that her behaviour was irrational and that she had some kind of breakdown . It’s embarrassing to watch really . But highly entertaining as I never liked Kelly in the show , she was a screwball lol
Kelly definitely has psychological issues and I feel sorry for her. She is very unintelligent and the way she clings onto childish tokens and behaviors (gummy bears; time-outs; telling someone to stop talking) is just very odd and deserves to be looked into by a specialist. It's almost like she regresses to being a spoiled child again just to cope with being confronted. It's really uncomfortable to watch.
why call her crazy thu that's just bullying only sane one in this situation is sonja this is not the way to handle this also only one called her crazy is bethenny she said it like 10 times to her face she loves labeling people the other women didn't really say it bethenny is a bully . when kelly goes to bring the jellybeans sonja told them she needs help then when kelly comes back bethenny tells kelly sonja saying you're crazy why she love being mean to people why shes always in people face you're this and you're that sonja had just explained to her that she need help
Crazy Kelly went off the deep end.... She took her anger out on the ladies.. And then turned it all around.... She was told to leave the Island... She's insane
This woman was clearly losing her mind this whole trip! Finally the crazy came out!!! lets remember she is raising 2 kids (or is the Nanny?) is so thank God they need stability not instability as we clearly see here not once but the whole trip! This is NOT normal behaviour!!!
I trully believe that she was forced by bravo due to her contract to go to that island. She should've been taken away as soon as she started acting like this. Reality shows producers are evil as fuck, though.
It's clear when kids are involved, every mother will be on all fours in defense. Kelly has good reason and possibly something deeper to resolve within but this nurturing side of Sonja is really heartwarming. Anyone having a breakdown on TV is never a good sight to see. These shady producers should of been more sensitive with the editing. Sending love and light to Kelly and the new RHONY ladies. 💌
Petty - Kelly was just doing her best to make the show entertaining. The other women took it too seriously. The other women wanted to continue bullying her but Kelly put her foot down which they didn't like so they started calling her crazy. Bullies do not like being stood up to.
Daniel Hobgen I dont think so. No one is going to make themselves look this crazy on purpose for “entertainment”. Kelly always talks a load of crap btw, no matter the episode.
