This is what happens when I set up a car on GT7.

It looked like an absolute punishment to drive that car. With 0 reward. Anything below 4th gear it didn't like.

For the interested folks, this car has been for sale for over a year! (I'm not the owner) Current price sits at €40K, but it started out at €90K. And seeing how this car drives, the drop in asking price is the reason why.

Verdict: Big Drama but no speed. This car needs a lot of work.

I'm not talking about the drive but the amount of sounds and noise this car is producing is just astonishing. I love that.

As a senior ABS calibration engineer, I LOVE when people say they don't need ABS because their foot is more skilled.. lol

First time ever seeing the co pilot not be impressed with mochas driving 😅

Many early day sequential and dogboxes require heeltoe and clutch like any manual car, only flat upshifts, so i dont know why many people complain about it, of course the rear also locks if you downshift two gears fast with higher rpms. Maybe too used to tech assisted gearboxes? At least this car was raw and true to drive with no modern day driving assists.

Need more cars like this on ye ol channel please. Definitely looked a bit of a handful, hard to say what it was down to , understeer properly down to no front aero to compensate for the rear wing ……. And castor / camber/ spring rate or maybe it just needed a set of slicks . Still good viewing though. 👍

Well that looked an absolute misery to drive. Brake balance out, also locking rear wheels on down shifts - should it have a rev match as you use the sequential?

Doesn't look like a very confidence-inspiring drive. And I don't mean that as criticism, more like there is a lot to process when driving this car, including the mad gearbox that sounds as if you throw a wrench into the cogs.

Just needs an engine tune. Not setup for a kicker (auto-blip), so blipping on downshifts would help settle it down a lot like in my H pattern dogbox and it has a giant hole in the tune so it kept cutting out or loading up when transitioning off and on throttle

Co-driver looks like he's been dead for a few years but doesn't know it. Car seems to have the wrong tyres, or they need more temperature. Downshift seems to block the rear-wheels everytime. Could become a great car, but it needs a lot of work and finetuning.

The Australian racing teams developed the R32 with selectable all wheel drive, custom ecu programming and other improvements. It was unbeatable, so much so that Nissan blocked attempts to race in Japan.

This gave me serious flashbacks. I had an RX7 s2 that always locked the rears despite much bias tweaking. You forget how much ABS helps!

misha i love your content but you have to recognize that we have always something to learn. it makes me feel curios why you didn't comment at the end of the video like always... and it is ok to accept that you drive new standards cars where technology plays a fundamental role in the overall driving experience. i have a 350Z 2004 and his TC and ABS stops working for some reason, that helped me to understand how to drive my car. RWD has more to do with traction when you go cornering, and with no traction control you need to be very smooth and accurate on the throttle. It is also about know the car and his torque and power peaks... you inspire me bro, keep pushing on your videos, it is ok to not be always the greatest drive. You still an excellent driver. Blesses!

Why weren't you downshifting with the clutch? In most cases that makes the downshifts smoother, especially with big heavy flywheel engines.

Jeeeez, I've had my butt clenched the whole video. - Shifting gears seems to be so "harsh" and it tends to upset the car's stability every time - power delivery looks insanely aggressive, to the point of upsetting the rear-end if the throttle is being hit too hard, or making the tires squeak at each accelerations (even at high speed !!!) - breaking is so intense (without ABS) that the rear-end wants to pass you every fucking time... What a machine! KUDOS to you Misha for "taming" the beast in such a harsh environment!

why would you remove abs though, all it does is make the car slower

this looked like an absolute handful to drive in the worst way possible

considering how the car jumps around, it looks like the suspension is binding. Probably caused by PU bushings on suspension arms and/or lowering the car too much. The rear gets sketchy when the traction arm in the rear does not get lengthened when the car gets lowered, as it makes wheels open on compression and rebound => lots of bump and toe steer. Spring rates seem too hard too. Tein suspensions are also not great until you reach the mono range. Slap a set of fortune auto 500, a gktech rear suspension kit (including the knuckle) and it will handle so much better no one will recognize it.

Hats off to you Misha for trying to drive that death trap around the ring.

Having an amatuer built racecar myself I can attest that it's a handfull to drive before everything is sorted out and/or you get used to it, especially the brakes. Props to Misha for handling it well overall! Further a part of the dodgy entries was due to Misha not using the clutch and rev-matching on the downshifts. But the brake balance need a lot of work in that car.

You have to control the throttle when you shift with some kind of sequential transmission. If you don't, the car can be unstable due to sudden torque change.

To be honest - now I want to see how someone that knows this car is driving it. Maybe it's setup is for someones crazy driving style that makes it work. From this movie it looks like deathtrap :V

that's a real car me and my boys use to take every thing no power steering no abs stage 2 clutch with a flywheel stiff suspension and a welded diff the good old days lol.

Maybe the sequential is old style where you need to lift off the throttle when changing up? I think I saw this in Best Motoring and old V8 Supercars. *Best Motoring's Mine's R34 episode and the final race has Keiichi in a sequential Silvia vs Rx7, R34, and Supra.

Misha's longest run? it never ended! This is a great car, but this example.... appears to have been recovered from some major competitive racing accident! The exchange rate was for bodybuilders; and the work of the suspension gave us the impression that the two, 'pilot' and 'co-pilot'... were riding a wild horse! Or that it had been reused and taken from some wagon, one of those North American "old west" style ones! Or that they forgot to put one in the car! God forbid! ! There were moments when I thought the passenger was dead! From the way Misha looked, I think he thought too...

Godzillas are always hard to set up for tracks. Brake bias to the front could have helped. Also, less engine braking.

ABS and an upgraded oil cooler and this thing will be just fine. I see that MC was not trying to push the car too hard because of its lack of stopping power. 😂

Setting up a sequential transmission is a pain in the ass . This needs paddle shifts and competent shift programming . Also there is alot of brake bias in the rear. Far to much caliper back there .Or get a adjustable prop valve .
