I think it was based off a true crime story involving old cold case this woman actually accidentally just solved a cold case that went cold because of no evidence i believe the killer went missing after abandoning the house they didn't find anything so it went cold now makes sense tho
Wallpaper and dried human skin have very different textures and behave differently. I would hope any reasonable person would be able to see the difference immediately.
I imagine, if the story is true, that she might've noticed the difference in texture. However, who would think it was dried human skin? She might've sensed an odd smell, maybe too. But hey, old house etc..
The only way u would know is via smell and texture. If he successfully made those unnoticeable, i would be looking for a butcher or someone that grew up in a rural area. 🤷🏽♀️
