You are right that SCCY is better now. Few yrs ago I bought a SCCY CPX2 9mm on sale for 199.99, took it to the range and it had issues out of the box, pull the trigger and nothing, and if u kept the trigger back and hit the rear right side of the gun it would fire. Also had mag issues. So they sent me new mags. But i fixed the gun my self I upgraded the fire control group/trigger and it worked fine everytime. But I was pissed off out of the box. Its the only new gun i ever had issues with out the box lol
I bought one a few years ago. I live in a state to your north. We have longer, colder winters generally. My primary EDC is in my pants pocket. Hard to get to when your bundled up. I would carry the SCCY in my coat pocket, being much more accessible. I always found the SCCY to be reliable. Best wishes, George.
I have had a CPX2 in 9mm For over 10 years now and it has functioned just fine. I don't mind the long trigger pull and feel it is plenty accurate for its intended purpose
I really like shooting mine, chunky little fellow it is. Thank you for reviewing this gun, the more you shoot it the more you'll like it. Love your reviews.
I had one back about 7 yrs ago tried everything jammed every round .tried different mags several different ammos but mine was 9mm .gun looked fairly nice but just never would cycle
I had a cpx 9. Wanted to like it but it was worse than them old Saturday night specials. Traded it for a down payment on a shotgun That’s one brand I’ll never buy again
