ha ha ha oh far out that was a good line , give it the old Mal Meninga toe poke, then it brought back memories of Big Mal running over the top of a NSW team , I could see him placing a bomb ( empty Shell ) on a kicking tee

Gday Jersey! Yeah we had a meeting that lasted about 10 minutes on top of that collapse. We kept getting pings of H2S and we think maybe a cow or something was back under there somewhere as it smelled like farts and death. Or death farts. Whatever is worse. There was actually a live firing range around the base of that hill. Also there is an old processing plant site on the creek to the north of there.

We went to the old plant on day one then spent the rest of the week trying to find out what mines fed such a monster mill! We solved the puzzle on the final day.

What is that like plaster or similar?Very sketch and soft.Surprised it was still open that much.

It's a shitty sandstone matrix that was decomposing. Some of it seriously felt like wet sand. Worse ground ever. I'm assuming before it oxidized it was more robust, as the timbered section was tiny
