Scenes and footage from the Nashville, Illinois dam flood 

On July 16, the National Weather Service and EMA services alerted residents of Nashville, Ill. to evacuate their homes. The dam that forms Nashville reservoir had begun to spill over.
BND photojournalist Joshua Carter followed the spillway during the rain. He saw sunken cars, houses, and residents floating on kayaks.
