Did the 240th have a U-8's also? I know one of them was the one Dad used. A saw 2 of them on the flight line.

I"m not actually sure. There were "random" airplanes that came in & out of BIA, I'm not sure if they were diverted for safety/maintenance/medical reasons. I don't know if my dad worked on any of these or not. Sometimes John Travolta's plane would be out on the tarmac, and he & I would take the tug out to look at it.
