We are starting today's drive from Featherston, where State Highway 2 almost instantly takes you through the Remutaka Ranges down into Hutt Valley. This was a really nice drive, if only I was in a sportier machine and not stuck behind traffic!
Anyways I was able to take in the beautiful views with rolling hills, its a road that demands attention though, especially with sun strikes blinding you at certain points.
Strap in and enjoy the twisty roads!
