Thanks for watching! What TV or monitor are you currently using with your setup? Also, the weird lines you might see on the monitors is the moire effect. It's not an issue with the monitor, it's an issue with me improperly setting up my camera. 😅
Thanks for watching! For me personally, I can notice a difference but it's more in the feeling of how it plays if that makes any sense haha. Higher refresh rates definitely give you the advantage in competitive FPS games. But if you mostly play single player titles like the Witcher or something, it's not really a huge deal IMO to have a 120hz+ Monitor if you are just trying to save some $. 😁
To solve the height issue and a better setup I bought a gaming desk with an elevated monitor shelf. Of course nobody has to do this but it's just one way to ensure the height isn't an issue. Incredible video btw man I really enjoyed it!! Becoming a techy nerd myself tbh 😅
@@DigitalCynics for sure! Have you or your sister been able to solve this issue or are you still using a board game box? No judgement at all in fact before using my other table I had one of my monitors I was gaming on on the box my PS4 came in haha. It works perfectly fine but sitting on the floor with the monitor on a box isn't exactly an ideal setup lmao.
@@shyryTsr2k Ha yeah, my old setup had a dinky 2nd monitor and I used to just use a nintendo switch box as a stand for that. My monitor for my current setup luckily has good height adjustment so the box isnt needed. I'm actually not sure what her setup is like now that shes back at college, but shes an avid board game fan so its possible she just uses one for convenience at her desk haha.
thanks so much for doing this video i’m getting this for Christmas and a new mouse and i play on 60 hz so i think it’s gonna be quiet of a change for me
I am trying to get a PC that has enough RAM for the Oculus but I don’t know what to choose. Do you know the cheapest but still good PC that can work on the Oculus or HTC Vive.
Personally I always recommend building your own to save money. 8GB of ram is what oculus requires but i always try to go 16gb if its in the budget because 8gb can be a bit limiting. Hope that helps!
Nice Vid I’m really just getting started with my gaming setup and needed a solid monitor. Can I connect this to an Xbox One X? Otherwise you got yourself a sub
I think the 144hz version would be worth the extra $ I am rocking a 32" LG 32GK650F-B And will buy a second mounted to a dual monitor clamp.. But may have a second more cost effective mini tower as well .. that I will want to rock 2 smaller 24" monitors stacked one above the other and the sceptre 144hz versions might be what I go with. I won't need the quality I will for my main pc.. it will be doing more basic tasks..
Nice. Yeah If you you have the $ it's absolutely worth going for 144hz. I think eventually I might go with an ultrawide and a small secondary monitor above it for live streaming or something. Thanks for watching! :)
You'd be surprised lol. But yeah I agree. I wish they would've just not included speakers and lowered the price of the monitor or maybe used the savings to improve it in other ways. Thanks for watching!
@@DigitalCynics I want to get speakers but idk how easy it will be to set up how easy will it be to setup a speaker for this monitor with my PC and what would you recommend
I’m trying to get a gaming set up. All i have are a PlayStation with PSVR, and a Wii. Trying to get a PC so i can like play games on steam and maybe hook up a Oculus or HTC Vive. That is my other question, What is better, Oculus Quest or Oculus Rift. Or is HTC Vive better than both. Sorry to annoy you with the questions, but i can’t find the answer.
Its tricky to answer cuz its totally subjective and depends on your specific scenario and preferences. Might have to make a video on that in the near future 🤔 The Quest or rift s is what id recommend right now primarily because the portability of the headset is nice and you dont need light boxes and its controllers are much better than the vive wands. But thats just my opinion. If possible, also wait to see if you can save 500-600 bucks because hp has the g2 set coming out in the fall and it looks VERY promising.
hey bro nice vid but I'm stuck with these too the AOC C24G1 24" Curved Frameless Gaming Monitor, and the Sceptre 24in Curved Monitor Review there both on amazon. if u can help me out that'd be great!
It'll do just fine! Its a 1080p monitor and only 75hz so you wont get ALL of the potential 1440p/120fps output that's possible from the series S. But I don't see the S outputting 120fps that often for AAA games so id say you're probably fine!
Thanks I love this video but the sad part is that I can’t buy this I don’t have money and my parent can’t afford because we are poor thanks god bless u
Can using vga cable to an older Dell inspiron tower pc now actually vga presently hooked to an old Dynex tv. Will this monitor work for me? On Intel Core windows7
As far as picture quality goes, you'll get the same experience compared to a PC with similar specs as your Xbox one. However, the Xbox One is locked at 60 HZ so the highest you would ever get frame rate wise is 60 FPS
i’m going to be buying a gaming pc soon. i’m willing to spend about 500 dollars on the actual pc. i am more of a casual gamer. i was thinking about getting either the “CUK Continuum Micro AMD Raven Ridge 3rd Gen Micro ATX Gaming Desktop Computer” or the “iBUYPOWER Gaming PC Computer Desktop Element Mini 9300 “ can anyone help me make the decision on what one will ultimately be better for me.
If you plugged this monitor into a rig that has the ability to pump out high frame rates, you may notice a very SLIGHT difference in game, but your still only going to be getting 75 fps displayed on the monitor since it can't output higher than that.
Just saw the link you posted, my bad. I thought you were referring to the monitor in the video. Yes the monitor you are referring to will work just fine with the PS5 and because it's 144 Hertz, it'll allow a higher frame rates than the one in this video
75hz is the monitors refresh rate. Regardless of what's plugged into it, 75hz will be it's refresh rate. Whether or not your console is outputting that many frames is dependent upon the console and the game you're playing. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
