WYFF Channel 4 News came to the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities campus in May 2011 for a piece they called, "Actress' Divine Debut Inspires Upstate Students." It featured interviews of Jessica Miller, Drama Class of 2011; Brandon hall, Drama Class of 2011; Dan Murray, SCGSAH Drama Department Chair; Dan Day, SCGSAH Drama Faculty; Jayce Tromsness, SCGSAH Drama Faculty; and Patina Miller, Tony Award nominated Broadway actress, Drama Class of 2002.
