In our country, several factories produced C1 lathes, which are a copy of the Schaublin SV-90. But there are also some differences in the design of the headstock. The video explains these differences. And the lubrication system of the headstock for the C1 machines and for Schaublin is the same. This was covered in one of my past videos:

Assembling the headstock is very inconvenient, but this work is not done every day.
After assembly, it is necessary to adjust the play in the front bearing, then in the rear bearing. And then adjust the axial clearance. Backlash adjustment is a separate topic. This video only shows the design and assembly of the headstock.
The headstock assembly is shown without a belt because it would interfere with showing the assembly. My belt is solid, one-piece, so it must be put together with the pulley.
It is shown how the headstock looks like with a belt that will transmit rotation from the counter drive to the spindle. The headstock can now be placed on the bed.
