Man, I love your abundant positive energy! It reminds me of the great Louis Armstrong! Keep it shining on! PS- I have two Stiletto Studio basses, 4 & 8. Can’t play like you, but I still love ‘em!
Just wanted to share the love for the Schecter Studio. I have a 4 string and I love it. The neck plays SO well, very fast. I didn't realize how much I was fighting my last bass. The 3 band EQ is now REQUIRED on any bass I will every choose. The mid EQ knob is so useful. The active pickups sound awesome. I am getting every sound I want - slap, clean, rush, primus, in between, and they all sounds terrific. The tuners, the pickups, the neck through body, the controls, the neck - love this bass. I haven't even put on new strings yet and I am loving tone.
Hey Brother, long story short, I was looking for a good and affordable bass, and after watching this video I decided to give to try this Schecter Studio 5, now just waiting for the UPS truck delivery it. I LIKE IT!!! 😁
I am buying this bass, good bang for the buck on a neck thru. Sir, you are a joy to watch and listen to. Put some production quality on these videos , and you won’t stop getting subs. I am LOVING it!!
I have a multiscale version. Easily the best playing bass I've ever had. It sounds amazing, and the fanned frets are much less intimidating than it seems. Great review!
You explained in the first 2 minutes what I have watched multiple 15-30 minute videos for... Which controls do what? Although I have a master volume, and then both pickups on one knob, then my treble mid and bass, it was the three tone knobs I couldnt figure out, thank you for not only being so full of positive vibes but for covering the controls so promptly and simply, I have the schecter riot 5.
You know Bro you know your stuff! I was stalking a Studio 5 at the Guitar Center that looked exactly the one you’re holding and watched the price drop to $199. It felt different, not bad, just different and didn’t know what I was holding. I just couldn’t make a decision at the time. I’ve since seen them come and go but not at that price point! The one I let get away!
Hi Johnny, love your style and your playing. I have a new Schecter Stiletto-5 Session 5 String on it's way, The Studio 5 has different pickups than the Session model, can you recommend a preamp configuration or is the stock version good enough for you? hee are the specs on the Session 5: Pickups feature an 18V active pickup system with two EMG-designed single coils. The electronics consist of a master volume and a master blend knob that mixes the relative volume of the middle and bridge pickups. There is also a three-band active rotary EQ with cut and boost controls for bass/middle/treble. Active or passive: Active Configuration: SS Neck: Not applicable Middle: Single-coil Bridge: Single-coil Brand: EMG Series or parallel: Series Active preamp: 18V Thanks so much inadvance, I appreciate your time and talent!
Just got mine in the mail today! I got the satin black finish, but haven’t opened it yet because it is recommended you wail about 24 hours or so Update: opened it a few hours ago and absolutely LOVE IT!!!!!
@@Disabledguitarist1985 Because i’m not sure if you’ve heard this or not, or if it’s even true lol, but on Sweetwater’s packaging it recommends you to wait about 24 hours, because apparently it has to get used to climate change in the box. I don’t know why because it’s being shipped all over the world, but I just took extra precaution. However, I got the bass from Guitar Center, and their box doesn’t say anything about that.
@@Disabledguitarist1985 Well long story short, I ordered the bass on back order, and then about a month later, it arrived. I opened it after waiting about 20 hours. Then a few days later I noticed a big scratch on the fretboard, so I returned it, and within about a week or two, I got a new one, in the second time I only waited 12-15 hours at the most lol because I was so eager to open it.
Johnny, I'm looking for a good slap bass to replace my cheap Squire bass. Between a V7 Sire and this one which do you like better? I would be looking at a 4 string version of each.
Dang I actually jump when you pointed that finger Be careful I taught you was going to poke my 👀& you talking to that Bass 😂 you Nasty Girl LMFAO you need to be a comedian
