Hello .. I applied from London for first time and got schengen with 1 year validity .My agent told me that it all depends on your bank balance if you maintain sufficient amount at an average of 50 to 80 euro per day you will get the visa .Not a big deal .
Thanks for your comment. Things might be different from UK. They are very strict for applications within India at least from multiple stories I have heard (faced rejection myself once). And in last 5 applications, my bank balance was same, so I am not sure if it happens with everyone only because of bank balance.
Also another point I got the 1 year schengen visa in 3 working days . Maybe there is more scrutiny of applications from India .Rejections are very rare or extremely unlikely for schengen applications from UK .
Hello , We will be staying 7 days in Switzerland , 6 days in Italy and 2 days in France . I was thinking of applying France Visa as we will be landing there while travelling from India . What are your thoughts?
Hi, You can't apply via France unfortunately. Rule clearly says you have to apply from the country with longest stay which will be Switzerland in your case.
@@trina7787 Hi Yes, if in your visa form you are mentioning your husband will be sponsoring your trip then technically no you don't need your income docs. But if you are writing sponsored by self, then you need to put your docs too. Anyways keep it as a best practice.
Great, so the dates for your travel-cum-health insurance are what they give the EU visa for? Did you also mention this in the cover letter that although my itinerary is 21 days, pls give me visa for 1 year? Did you mention about Puja/her employment in Portugal?
Yes for 1 (Date of Insurance), No for other 2 questions as I was only getting tourist visa, Never mention you want to stay for X/Y days. I got my first rejection for this specific reason when I said give me for 90 days. Let them decide the duration.
