How to get to the Schilthorn summit by cable car. From Stechelberg, in the Lauterbrunnen Valley, step-by-step guide all the way up to the Schilthorn.
The Schilthorn summit is 2970 meters above sea level and offers spectacular views of the Bernese Alps. It takes 4 cable cars to make it up there. In this video we explain how to travel from Stechelberg.

I will be in Switzerland later this week for two weeks for work. I have been going for 22 years but this is the first time I have the chance to spend the weekend in Lauterbrunnen. We hope the weather is good enough to take the trip up the Schilthorn.

i was on hoilday in Switzerland after the start of february this year 2024 and we went during the ski season where there was lots and lots of snow and i went on this very cable car from Murren to Birg unfortunately the cable car to piz Gloria was not running due to really strong winds.

40 years ago I ran all the way from the schilthorn all the way back down to the Breithorn campsite which is near the cable car lift legs were sore for days ,thanks for the memory’s in case you did not know the bond people gave the the money to finish Piz Gloria on the condition they got the use of it to film On Her Majesty’s Secret Service

No, no toma todo el día. Perfectamente puede hacerse en unas pocas horas. Cada uno lo hace a su propio ritmo, así que más que nada depende del tiempo dedicado a cada lugar. Gracias.
