@dieselducy Oh gosh I don't even know where to start! What do you look for in an elevator???? The ones at the parking deck on campus are pretty neat! One of my favorites is the massive elevator in Hancock Hall (reasonably close to the parking deck, doesn't require special access/ keycard.) Most of the older buildings have Southern Elevators...

0:46 Not the worst HT chime ever… The worst HT chime I’ve seen is at 8811 W. Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV, that one is pure faint

it is a bright and clean elevator but it does seem slow, but I have noticed that elevators in parking structures always seem to be slow.

@dieselducy The Hancock elevator I suppose you can say is a passenger elevator designed for hauling freight if need be (capacity 10K lbs I think) If you want a genuine freight elevator, go right next door to Randolph Hall- also home to possibly the slowest passenger elevator I may have ever been on... Tried posting a link to a campus may, wouldn't let me do it- The buildings I have mentioned are the parking deck in the upper left corner, along with #s 133 and 133c

@an65001 Most elevators have CHEAP parts here and there... and Schindler is NO exception... If elevators are inspected constantly, problems are less likely to occur. Unfortunately, Hydraulic elevators are NOT eco-friendly. Traction elevators REQUIRE a Penthouse in which is not available in ALL buildings. I do agree about the hydroelectric generator though :)

@cannycart Why? They are utter DEATH-TRAPS! The parts they use are SO CHEAP, which explains their low price, they tend to break down, and their power ratio (going up/going down) is 95/100 while hydraulic is 100/1! If you were to create a hydroelectric mini generator, then no power can be consumed. The oil can be refined peanut oil. Such things would make hydraulic Eco friendly
