Yes, there are TWO Targets in Springfield, PA on the SAME road nearly a mile apart. The free-standing Target was originally a three story free-standing Strawbridge and Clothier. In 1997 that store was divided in to Target on the first two levels and Bed Bath and Beyond on the third floor.
This Target is an anchor store in the mall, built on the site of a former Wanamaker's/Hecht's/Strawbridge's store. These elevators were installed after the demolition of the Strawbridge's building and the construction of a new two story Target building was completed in 2009.
