Schneider let me down big time. Leading company I always wanted to go to. Left me go after 6 days of training claiming I haven’t progressed. Keep in mind I came in with the CDL. Think about it, maybe it’s the trainers.

Im a retired special agent with your beloved Internal Revenue Service looking for a new career path. I deeply enjoyed jumping in my G car and driving to diff cities to conduct irs business. Always been kind of interested in dedicated local home daily to home few times a week trucking routes but cdl costs always scared me away lol. You ladies are great by the way

Great Video. I talked to a ole driver who use to work for you before he retired from you guy's. (He said he loved everyday). I start CDL School in February 2 and hope to be one of your new drivers. Hope to see you after driving school.(oh, I am in the Yucca valley calif area.92284).

Update, greyhound messed up, and I missed my connecting bus in Binghamton, NY by ten mins, lol.. Had to bus it back to Syracuse, and wait until next Monday to leave for training..! Still, I'm looking forward to joining the Schneider Team..!

Hi Chris. Not for most Intermodal positions. However, a Tanker and Hazmat endorsements are typically required.

Thank yall so much for the information. I've been looking at schneider for two weeks trying to learn more about the company. I have no cdl and had intrest in the dedicated ltl position. I'm a big simi truck lover and I have one crazy question. Do choose your truck or do they assign you one? Had to ask this lol I've seen the freightliner and I think the Kenworth but imma big valvo fan. But u dont know if valvo are just for leasing or not

You can make a request for a certain truck, but there's no guarantee you'll receive it. Truck assignment is based on availability and operational needs at the time you start. Sure. If it does not have hazardous materials inside of it. You could do food grade haul.

Most likely Phoenix but your orientation and training location will depend on the type of position you apply to. We have training locations around the nation but not all train for all types of driving jobs. However, Schneider covers the cost for transportation and lodging during orientation.

ok. At least take it in consideration. When I was at LCT in Okahumpka, Fl, we hauled refrigerated goods. Our main freight was Orange juice products and flowers. That kept us going. Ok. Thanks.

This video is out of date. I called today. They said they only taking people with 3 months experience. How they expect you to work for a company for 90 days then quit is pretty unreasonable. I figured they are tired of getting people into orientation then having them fail a hair follicle drug test. So it seems like since the hair follicle test goes back 90 days then they figure “well he’s been driving for 90 days he probably hasn’t smoked weed.” You would think it would make more sense to stop doing the follicle considering how many states have legalized it, and the cost of a hair follicle compared to a urinalysis. So if you just out of school this place isn’t for you.

The updated experienced requirements have nothing to do with our background check. Our core value of Safety First directs our background check practices.

Accessorial pay is a common truck driver pay term. All it means is that it's added pay to your CPM for performaning additional work duties like loading, unloading, etc.

I understand your concerns about doublespeak, but this is more of a an umbrella term that covers several paid tasks not directly related to driving.
