This is even relatable in the UK. When I was a kid, Mum and dad paid 20 pounds not cheap before the photograph. I pulled the ultimate funny face. It look like I had no teeth only gums. My parents were horrified and demanded a refund and got rejected. Mum gave me a very bad thick ear. It bloody hurt lol.
