Hi, the differences in taxable income is most likely due to pension fund benefits and contract. Someone who contribute 3% vs someone who contributes 27% is very big. When you pay tax you give your money to government when you put it into you pension fund you give it to you future self
The tax on the R28k payslip is higher because it is tax on total income and not just the acting allowance. So you if add the normal pay + pretend pay and the tax on both should workout roughly the same as a person earning that as a single income.
The acting allowance is paid on a supplementary salary run so the tax is always higher, it gets reconciled at the end of the tax year. It better to get an allowance to be aid on your normal salary run
Hi guys , thanks for stopping by, here is your time stamp: 00:00 Acting Principal salary 02:38 Deputy principal salary 04:25 Deputy principal salary (Private School 05:24 Deputy principal salary 06:35 HOD Salary 07:00 Teachers Salary 07:39 Principal salary 09:57 Principal salary Please like the video.
the reason of the Acting Principal getting a basic of +30K is because she is getting a Deputy Principal Salary not principal, then with the acting allowance on the side. Here is why the tax of the allowance is high. they have tax her based on a north of both salaries the basic and allowance hence t is 10k. on the other hand the last principal who is new is getting +30k because he is a PL2 Principal. PL3 Principal will get +45K and PL4 +60K and learner based, hence that principal with +60K salary was hiding. there is a maximum number learners that if you exceed you get an allowance for each learner in a school. that is why outside Gauteng Principal X will have a lot of learners overcrowded, while Principal Y has a low number. I am a Deputy Principal by the way with more than 2years.
Hi Sis Bonie, thank you so much for all that you do..I hope you know how important it is in shaping our people's future. Can you please do one for someone in the M&E (monitoring &evaluation) space. Thank you.
Some acting principals do not get the acting allowance because they are normally given the latitude to hire a teacher or to get the acting renumeration.
PL5 principals gross is more than R70 000,some PL5 principals get a notch of over R1 000 000 per year. take home varies from person to person because of medicals aid, tax and other deductions.
Hi dear,Congratulations on your channel. Its informative.Im also a certified/qualified financial advisor. As for the tax or PAYE,I advise that they acquire a retirement annuity
That was for your round of the mill private schools Boni. You'd have chest pains if you saw the salaries of teachers in elite private schools (who teach STEM subjects and have PGCEs)
kanti how much is the startup of teacher's salary?, if a persons net salary is 22k in 2024 whereas she started working in 2021 and yet her Gross is 29k.....
The teacher 'salary is not a true reflection for someone who started working 2021. It should be less than that. Go and check promotional posts for teachers then you get the real figures of all levels.
The 63k one looks like it has bonus added. Paye for 63k is more than 16k excluding other deductions. My suspicion here is she pays tax bonus monthly so that she is not taxed for bonusl. But I confused is post level 4 earning 34000. Yhu hayi ayikho ke le.
I want to see more and also wish to see a post level 5 principal payslip with a combined school (grade R/1- 12) type of enrollment. Khona into engifuna ukuyibona
