Omg can’t believe I went from watching middle school supplies videos now I’m starting college next week 😭

I usually get every year: - Laptop (might not need a new one every year) - Planner - 1 1/2-Inch Binder - 5-8 Tab Binder divider - A notebook for each class (if you prefer writing over typing) - Pens - Pencils - Highlighters - Sticky Notes - Index Cards - Hand Held Calculator

I would highly recommend getting a big binder with dividers and using it for all or multiple classes. This allows you to add paper to a subject unlike notebooks. You can also hole punch any printouts. I’ve done this since highschool and it can be much more organized.

I’m starting college in less than one month! I’m so nervous 😭

I'm going to go to college but I will go home every day since I'm living with my parents. I don't need to worry about dorm room stuff. I just need the school stuff for studying. This video is perfect because the other videos i wach say "you need toiletries" "you need clothes " etc and I dont need to bring that stuff.

I didn’t get binders or notebooks for college (unless the professor required it). I got a clipboard/folder hybrid and put loose leaf paper in them. I took notes on that and dated, labeled and numbered the pages. Then I’d file the notes in the specific folder for the class. It’s so much lighter this way and way less wasteful. It carried over for the subsequent semesters. I could keep the class handouts and my own notes together and organized. I always dated the class handouts too so I could correspond them to the notes I took that day. I wrote in pencil cuz I liked to erase things easily and keep my notes tidy. After I’d go over my notes in pens and highlighters.

I recommend getting file folders because they are great for organization. I have been using them since highschool and they take up less space than a binder.

My college gave me one of the phone wallets with the acceptance letter, which was nice of them, I've been basically obsessed with it!

I’m starting college in two weeks I’m 19 and have been working since 16 so I thought it was time for a career change and I’m going to be doing software and web development a levels and there’s really not a lot of videos telling me what to expect and what to get as preparation lmao I’m so unorganised rn from lack of information so when I go for my induction next week be sure I’m gonna bombard the tutors for a idea of what I need

I'm starting college next month and the things i buy for my school stuff is just binder, fillers for my binder, ballpen, file organizer, sticky notes, highlighter, yellow pad, dividers, clip board and a bag

I’m going in two months and personally I prefer iPad more than a laptop because it’s much easier to carry around for me and the one I’m getting has data so I can use it anywhere even if there’s no wifi. I also love mini pens they just write so nicely. For any kind of paper I enjoy using kokuyo brand because the paper is a nice quality and the pen just goes well with it. You just have to wait for a couple seconds to dry because the paper is more silky so it takes a bit longer to dry than a dollar store paper would. I also have this “invisible” post it notes where I can put over a text and I’ll see the text which could be very useful especially if you’re borrowing a book and cannot write on the paper. For pencils I just get those bulk mechanical pencils and get a tombow eraser. I like stabilo highlighters they are long lasting but I also have some sharpie highlighters the ones with the clear middle. I’m planning to use my tote so I’ll just get an organizer to keep it from getting messed up. I also have this waterproof usb from the brand gorilla which is amazing and I’m planning on getting another one. A regular 6 inch ruler, gum, and some snacks (I chose afternoon classes and I get hungry when I study). It’s also good to bring a water bottle with you. A small notepad to write important things or train of thoughts to make sure I don’t forget Here’s my starter list: •tote bag •iPad •waterproof usb from Gorilla •bag organizer •kokuyo notebooks/binders/papers •small notepad •muji pens •tombow eraser •pack of mechanical pencils •stabilo and sharpie highlighters •clear post it notes •6 inch ruler •water bottle •gum •snacks
