I wasnt even old enough to really listen to those artists but coming back and discovering the music i truly think that THAT was the golden era of hip hop. You had the whole TDE collective, odd future, a$ap mob, jcole, mac miller, danny brown, some of the older artists were still at it and even the more "mumbely" rappers started to show. Not to say that a lot of those people are not active now, bht back than it was all happening at the same time and it was all new. It was so diverse with so much talent.
you can't fake that. Mac is on-stage rocking out like a groupie, then Q tries to dap up Mac & Mac's like bring that shit it man. Mac & Q always make me smile. RIP to the homie Mac Miller & best wishes to his people
Its because he was on xans and drunk, he literally didnt notice because he couldnt feel it slip out. If you ever mix benzos and alcohol youll know what im saying
mannn you could see the brotherly love between them🥺 mac dropped his phone cause his pants were too baggy and school boy put it in his pocket so mac wouldn’t drop it again and it just melts my heart🥺♥️ 0:42
Oh my god, Mac....... 😭😭😭😭I love you, hero, idol, icon, legend..... that surprised the fuck out of me .... I thought this was new........ shocked me & now my heart is broke all over again...... Malcolm McCormick I love you. You made me who I am today.... I always pictured me listening to you when I’m 35-40, showing my daughter & my other future kids your music & show them just how of a once in a generation human you were..., (im 25, just a year & a half younger than you)... as you grew I grew with you. As your music matured, I matured with you.... I love you.... 💔💔💔💔💔
Don. Diego.98 so happy.... he always was..... but yeah him & Q were very close that’s why Q’s album didn’t drop in 2018..... cuz he needed to go back & I really hope this year when his new album drops that he does some insane music, probably just 1 song for Mac.... or multiple lines on various songs...... RIP my hero, a legend, an icon....
2013, 2014 ish have been great years for music. Q, Danny, Vince, Asap, Kendrick...I think this was improvised in a way. He twitted in the morning that he would have had a concert in the parking lot and thousands of people showed up. This album man is something else and so underrated.
A few takeaways from this video: Mac had THE BEST stage presence!! He could hype up a crowd like no other and I am here for it! The way he gives it his ALL. Also, the way he ALWAYS hyped up other artists. Period. On stage and in interviews. He always let others shine and talked them up. SOOO rare. Then and now! He was genuine af! Humble and down to earth. And lastly, this was a fuckin AMAZING performance!! Their energy together is, for lack of a better word, so cute! What I wouldn’t give to have been there😭😭 Whether he was on stage for one song or one hour…just epic. Every single time🙏🏻❤
i really got so much respect for q and ive been listening to the dude since setbacks.. but i just find it hard to feel the flow of a performance when he doesnt finish the bars hes spitting
This is so authentic ..I bet anything Q cherishes this moment now that Mac is gone …I doubt he even knew he was gonna come on stage and vibe out, shouts his boy out at the end just a beautiful moment
Just went and saw you perform down at Brisbane, can't listen to your songs the same way, always get hyped as fuck when your songs play, my nigga Q the GOAT
