Can’t believe he was in his late 40s/early 50s during the SHR era. I always pictured some 20-something “hippie” type at the other end of that voice. Without his voice, you probably wouldn’t have been able to call it “rock”. It would have been “Schoolhouse Folk” or, in this case, “Schoolhouse Jazz”.

Interesting fact Originally it was Life Liberty and Property. Property being anything that you can claim as your own, your thoughts, your opinions. It was part of your life and liberty. But they changed it in the finale draft but they didn’t deny that you had a right to property as it say among these are the right to life liberty and the pursuit Happiness. But really its Life Liberty and property, and you use that to pursue happiness.

Clearly you need to watch the Schoolhouse Rock "Melting Pot" song. This country is for anyone who is yearning to breathe free, to have those inalienable rights of life liberty and the pursuit of happiness that are guaranteed to all humans actually be expressed by their government. Segregating that based on arbitrary lines of nationality is at best really stupid and at worst incredibly bigoted
