I had a pastor, when l asked about when YESHUA teaching the Torah, shouldn’t we be obedient to the commandments? The pastor said YESHUA was teaching these BEFORE HE went to the cross. In other words, like many pastors , they teach the Torah was nailed to the cross there-by they have the belief that obedience to the Torah is no longer needed. 😢

I really enjoy Sabbat Night with Michael Roods and Dr Joanes and Dr. MAGUIRE, it is so fascinating and I can see where they are coming from. It makes so much more sense, if this information can get to those who doubt the existence of the God and Jesus in the English version or the Jewish version Yashua. I believe it will bring more individuals young and old back to reconsidering that God is real and the Supreme Being of the Universe. I believe in time the Catholic Church and other religious groups will merge with the Messanic Christians one day. Because of all the research that the Messanic Christians have or will bring to fruitation of facts and historical documentation. Personally I think even our public schools should have a factual Theological course for youngsters starting in the 6th grade and in High School. It can go under World History, as an elective with credits in High School, we may see a more calming world and respect for one another may ret❤❤urn. 🙏 And Scholars like Dr. McGuire, and Dr Joanes should develope program for the School systems as well as College and universities. 😊❤

Loving this series... but... your previous guests clearly laid out factually that covenants are not contracts and Jones is saying a covenant is like a contract... he needs to choose his words more carefully. Not trying to be a word nazi... but being an expert I would hope he would differentiate between the two. Contract is if one side breaks faith the agreement is over. I was always taught the "new covenant or testament" was originally written in a mishmosh of Hebrew, Greek, Latin and Aramaic depending on who the books/letters were written to originally. They may or may not have been translated into other languages including Hebrew or all of them I don't know. I see the point though there isn't any room for prejudices, resentments and quarrels within the body of believers. Jesus didn't raise on the Sabbath because He was resting on the Sabbath and His Earthly mission was completed and He probably needed a rest. Point being the Sabbath never changed to Sunday and yes I get why some think it's proper to worship on the day He rose but everyday we reside in Him is rest. Everyday in Him is a miracle Jew or gentile.

This issue of Bar-Abbas vs Bar-Raban is actually a very big deal . There is a RU-vid channel called Scriptural Truth and because Bar-Abbas means "son of The Father" , vs Jesus Christ , which means Jesus the Anointed , she then takes Matthew 24:24-26 out of context thinking that Jesus Christ is the imposter and Bar-Abbas is the correct person we were supposed to have been following !!! I have just one little disagreement , it's over Acts 12:4 and the use of "easter" in the KJV . I do not observe "easter" and understand quite well where it came from , however , if you you read it very slowly you'll see that it's actually correct .
