Yahu is the name over 187 biblical characters of the Father. Yahu/Yah is in nearly 200 known names plus many more speculated to have had that name then been wiped away. Yeshayahu is Isaiah's name in Hebrew. It's basically the exact same name as Joshua except the yod, heh, vav is at the end instead of the front or vice versa depending on if you're looking at it from a Hebrew perspective, minus the extra yod for Ya-sha... Yashayahu...Yahu-sha minus the niqqud that literally only affect 2 biblical names that way. Yahuah the Father and Yahusha the Son or Joshua... Jonathan is another name that is Yahunatan. We would NEVER change the name of 'God' to fit our language rules our language rules would change to fit Yah's name.

Ever since the Babylonian invasion of the Kingdom of Judea, and the enforced diaspora of its noble class in 597 BCE, the Jews have had a strong penchant for hiding the name of the LORD (YHWH) from the Gentiles, thus preventing them from potentially profaning the LORD’s name revealed to Moses (specifically the name of YAH, “HaYAH”, as found in Exodus 3:13-15). YAH is “the name which is above every name.” Readers in the synagogues would inadvertently attempt to pronounce the LORD’s name, as there were no vowels in the Hebrew words within the Hebrew Bible [or known as “The Old Testament”] when coming upon God’s name: YHWH. Later, the Jewish clergy developed the practice, around the 1100s of adding Hebrew vowels created by the Masoretes, to the Tetragrammaton [Gr. word for the four consonant letters of the LORD's name]. The vowels were taken from at least three other Hebrew words, namely, Adonay (meaning Lord, with the vowels of a-o-ai causing the hybrid name YaHoWaiH, or later shortened to YAHWEH), Eloah (meaning God, with the vowels of e-o-a causing YeHoWaH later Jehovah or Yehovah), and Elohim (meaning Gods, with the vowels of e-o-i causing YeHoWiH, as shown in Strong’s Dictionary of Bible Words # 3069). These hybrid names were never meant to form any legitimate name for the LORD but were placed there to remind the readers in the synagogues to say, “Adonay” instead of attempting to pronounce the LORD’s actual name. Later in Medieval times, the Roman Catholic Church was known to raid Jewish synagogues, take their gold, and the Hebrew Scriptures [the Old Testament], and persecute Jews. Raymondus Martini was a 13th century Dominican friar and theologian. He is remembered for his book called “Pugio Fidei” (in the year 1270 CE). Finding the absconded Hebrew Scriptures in the Dominican Library, and believing he had discovered the name of God, he used the name Iehovah (or Iehova) in his book not understanding that these vowels were not original to the LORD’s actual name. The name and pronunciation of “Jehovah,” (and also the name Jesus unknown until the 17th century) were essentially unknown in the years before 1520 CE, when introduced and propagated by Peter, Galatinus (1450-1540), he held the office of penitentiary under pope Leo X. His chief work De Arcanis Catholicae Veritatis, a book, written at the request of the pope, the emperor, and other dignitaries, in the year 1516 CE, as he also used the name Iehovah in his book. The name Iehovah was altered with the addition of the letter J, which was a recent addition to the English alphabet in the 17th century. Galatinus also did not know of the Jewish practice of adding vowels from an entirely different word, and he did not know that the vowels found around the Tetragrammaton YeHoWaH were from the Hebrew word Eloah, and if he did, he did not care. Noted Bible scholar J. B. Rotherham, essentially stated, “To give YHWH (Latin: IHVH and later JHVH) the vowels of the word (ELOAH) to remind the Jewish reader to say, ‘Adonay,’ and to be pronounced by the Christians, ‘Jehovah,’ is about as hybrid a combination as it would be to spell the name of Germany with the vowels of Portugal-viz., Gormuna” (The Emphasized Bible, J. B. Rotherham, Kregel Publication, 1994, Pp. 24-25). Jehovah in its present hybrid form has only existed since the 17th century. Fact: The LORD’s essential name is YAH, and Bible scholars have acknowledged YAHWEH (see Strong’s #3050), as in “Praise YAH,” Hebrew: “Halleluyah!” The English “Hallelujah” is a misnomer. YAH is “the name which is above every name” (Philippians 2:9), and YAHSHUA is the only name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and this name is to be known among every language, tongue, as the essential revealed name of the LORD according to the Gospel (Philippians 2:11), YAH, as in HaYAH (the I AM). The Savior identified His name as “I AM” (YAH, see John 8:58). The prophet Isaiah identified the name of salvation as YAH (Isaiah 12:2 NKJV). And “shua” means “my help”, as in “my salvation.” To reject the revealed name of YAHSHUA, which was given by the angel (Matthew 1:21) is to stand condemned (John 3:18). YAHSHUA is shortened from the name YAHOSHUA, which is commonly spelled Yehoshua largely due to the Jewish practice of hiding the name YAH, as a result, scholars would consider YAHOSHUA a philological impossibility, however, they are mistaken. Je-hovah, “hovah” in Hebrew means, “Ruin, Mischief, and Calamity” (see Strong’s #1942, #1943). The Jewish Encyclopedia, states, under the name “Jehovah,” “This name is commonly represented in modern translation by the form Jehovah, which, however, is a philological impossibility” (p. 160). The Jehovah’s Witnesses admittedly make a similar reference that the name Jehovah is inferior, in their book: Let Your Name Be Sanctified (p. 16). Undoubtedly, the name Jehovah is not the revealed name of the LORD! Many Christian clergy know this truth that the name Jehovah is bogus. Still, due to their tradition, or the fact that this name erroneously appears in the King James Version of the Bible, they hold to this euphonious name for the sake of their tradition, which makes void the revelation of God (Mark 7:6-7). The Lord has a warning for them, “And now, O priests (pastors and teachers), this commandment is for you. If you will not hear, and if you will not take it to heart, to give glory to My name,” says the LORD of hosts, “I will send a curse upon you, Yes, I have cursed them already, because you do not take it to heart” (Malachi 2:1-2). Satan is deceiving the whole world (Revelation 12:9). Despite being told the truth of the one name of salvation, YAHSHUA, they will hold to the name Jesus, Jehovah, never revealed by the LORD. Many will reject the name YAHSHUA holding to be with the many despite the admonishment: “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). The name Jesus was never revealed by the LORD, or an angel of the Lord, and history proves this, as eminent historian Ernest Renan acknowledged that the Savior was never in His lifetime called “Jesus” (The Life of Jesus, p. 90). Many on the path to the wide gate of destruction have sought to justify their faith in the substitute (counterfeit name) of Jesus, for they say, “I have seen wonders in the name of Jesus, and demons cast out in the name of Jesus, however, the Lord YAHSHUA has this to say to them, as given in Matthew 7:21-23, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” Those who think that demons were cast out as a basis for holding onto a name that was never revealed by God will find the Lord saying “Depart from Me,” for they are workers of lawlessness! As the apostle Peter said, "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” This means that all these names Jesus, Iesus, Iesous, and all the names that come from these three names are counterfeits! @@chuckdeuces911 I advise study the tense form of Hebrew pattern. There are seven of them it change the meaning and phonetic form of pronunciation. But if to be speculate or guessing from either we rely read it from other books or website without knowledge in Hebrew phonetic tense form it helpless. For example you mentioned name of Prophet Isaiah the transliteration of Hebrew reading form ישעיהו Y[e]SHa'[e.]YāHu (source:MT) derive from verb YāSHa' in Qal pattern 3rd person singular (lit. Trl. "he saved") can mean save, help; deliverance. But if the pattern is in יְהוֹשִׁ֣יעַ Y[e]HoSHêY'a a Verb 3rd person singular masculine in Hiphil Pattern the literal translation is "he caused to be save". But the root derive same from YāSHa'. Notice Nehemia cited Exodus 3:14-15 notice the two term for the name of God revealed to Moses. The first in v14 is God Himself named I AM the Hebrew is אהיה ‛eH[e]YeH but in v15 the pattern form change יהוה Y[e]HVāH translation is He will Be/He Was/He Is. Notice it shift from first person "I" into third "He". Because the Hebrew form is not like in English separate the pronoun (I, He) or called prefix in Hebrew is inseparable. Take careful look the form א (aleph) it is prefix of "I" and for י (yod) both derive from Hebrew root verb היה (HaYaH).

Not true. In Luke 17 he says he proclaimed the Father's name. In Hebrew Matthew the name appears throughout. The rabbis didn't ban the name until well over a century later, and in fact required people to greet each other in the name citing Ruth 2:4 as an example.

It's also in Hebrew versions of Luke, John and Revelation, though we don't yet know of those are descended from a Hebrew original or later translations. Revelation also speaks of "He who was, is and is to come", which is a direct reference to the Tetragrammaton. We know that Greek scriptures had the name removed from them sometime in the 4th century. Earlier copies of the Septuagint have the Tetragrammaton in Paleo-Hebrew letters, but in the later version we use today, they have been replaced with "kurios" ("lord"). The New Testament almost certainly got the same treatment.

How do we know that we know the Lord? Answer: When we hold to His revelations and commandments, or if not, we shall be cast out as being of lawlessness. The Lord said, in Matthew 7:21-23, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Not quite, but the confusion is understandable. There are light and heavy "H" sounds as well as light and heavy "Kh/Ch" sounds in Semitic languages, but they don't all survive in modern Hebrew. Arabic still has them all, more or less, at least as far as I understand. Israeli Hebrew tends to favor the light "H" or even to cut out the "H" sound entirely. So YaHH-vey with the heavy "H" sound you sometimes hear in Arabic.

For example, do you understand that Latin is the language used when this word (iehova) was first put in print, it is not a Hebrew word. Later on when the letter j was created and used in the English language, this word began to be used with a j instead of an i. Currently in the English language people use the word Jehovah. I personally dislike this word being used in translations today, because I believe it should not be present in translations of the Bible. If this scholar is correct, then he can show all the reasons why Jehovah is not the correct word to be used, and I wish and hope he will do this at some point in time. Satan is deceiving the whole world (Revelation 12:9). Despite being told the truth of the one name of salvation, YAHSHUA, they will hold to the name Jesus, Jehovah, never revealed by the LORD. Many will reject the name YAHSHUA holding to be with the many despite the admonishment: “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. The addition of Hebrew vowel points to the Tetragrammaton, that is the consonants of God’s name, according to the Jewish tradition, or practice, developed during the 3rd to 2nd centuries BCE, a Jewish practice to remind the readers in the synagogues not to say the name for fear of the Gentiles hearing it and possibly profaning God’s name. He has found 5,000+ manuscripts of the Hebrew Bible with all three vowels shown that read Yehovah. None that read Yahweh (or other pronunciations). The vowels of Eloah added to YHVH caused the false name Yehovah, or Jehovah. The vowels of Elohim caused Yehovih (see Strong’s Dictionary of Bible Words #3069). Je-hovah, as with hovah means ruin, mischief, and calamity (see Strong’s #1942, #1943). All these false and idolatrous names: Yehovih, Yehovah, and Jehovah are counterfeits. The essential name of salvation is YAH according to the Prophet, “Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation’” (Isaiah 12:2 NKJV). "I AM" is YAH, and “this is the name which is above every name.” Christ told the people that He is YAH (John 8:58). Moses asked God for His name, and He said, “HaYAH Ashar HaYAH”, that is “I AM Who I AM”, and “I AM” is the name “YAH” (Exodus 3:14). We should know His revealed name YAH, and Praise YAH, and rightly so, “Halleluyah!” Language of any kind conforms to the revelation of God, not God’s revelation conforming to languages. The Apostle Paul on the road to Damascus was confronted by the Lord, and he asked, “Who are You Lord,” and the LORD answered in Hebrew, “I am YAHSHUA…” (Acts 26:12-15). Our Lord and Savior has “the name which is above every name.” The Apostle Paul gives testimony to that very fact: “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of YAHSHUA, every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that YAHSHUA the Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11). Every tongue, and language, is to know this only revealed name for our very salvation, “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). How do we know that we know the Lord? Answer: When we hold to His revelations and commandments, or if not, we shall be cast out as being of lawlessness. The Lord said, in Matthew 7:21-23, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” This will be the excuse of many who justify the counterfeit name of Jesus! What happens if I reject the name YAHSHUA for the counterfeit name Jesus? “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. ‘He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God’” (John 3:16-18). Answer: If you do not believe in the name YAHSHUA, the name of the only begotten Son of God, you will stand condemned!
