Rendez-vous à la ROCHE sur YON le 25/26/27 mai 2018 pour le premier festival de musique classique de la ville avec TRISTAN PFAFF, DIRECTEUR ARTISTIQUE !!!!!!!!
There is no doubt he is an amazing pianist, practiced lots of hours, has a passion for playing, wish i could be half the pianist that he is..... but performance is overall... boring.... but hey, you don't need to be ramsey gordon to know if a good is cooked well, right? but i will say this from a person who, before watching this performance, has listened to kissing, cziffra, horowitz - listening to their rendition was exciting and I just didn't feel that same way with this particular performance, i felt that the dynamics were overall the same (maybe it's the piano, i don't know) and he was playing way too brainy (not emotionally), although felt he became more into in after the middle section nonetheless, I would've liked to see more emotion - many pianists are too mental and brainy and not really emotional.. has anyone ever watched nobu tsujii? the blind pianist that won the cliburn competition? his technique had some flaws but he is so interesting to listen to because he has emotional connection with the music my little experiment? how about take 2 shots of vodka before playing and see how that would affect playing? i don't think he needs more practice - he has all the practice he needs but he needs to play from a different perspective - an emotional one, not a mental one (take those 2 shots of vodka)
Je partage votre avis Sauf que y'a quelque chose d'autre que la virtuosité du pianiste qui me semble sonner quand même diablement juste, sur cette performance ci.
