I own 3 helmets, and I use them all. One of them is the C3 Pro. While not perfect - no helmet is in my opinion - it's a winner for me. With the chin vent closed, this is - by far - the quietest helmet money can buy. Awesome review by the way!
Just to echo some of the other commenters but this is an outstanding review for this C3 Pro helmet. Your sense of humor and editing are perfectly presented and it is to my liking. Well done and I think when the time comes I pull the trigger on a new helmet, this is at the top of my list. Thanks man.
Thousands of miles later and I’m still in love with it! Through cold, through harsh winds across the Great Plains and in sweltering heat, it’s proven itself against all of it. Glad you enjoyed the video!
What pipes on the cross country? You mentioned it is pretty loud. Have you experienced the exhaust reverberating inside the helmet to where it’s amplified even louder than without the helmet on?
I’ve got Bassani pipes. Gives a real deep rumble at idle, a nice cracking scream at high RPMs. The helmet doesn’t amplify, it suppresses sound pretty well. It’s rated as one of the quietest Modular’s on the market. But it is a modular, so there are definitely quieter options. I’m pretty pleased with it though.
Yeah, a 2XL. I measured in at a 1X but thought I should go a size up and it fits perfectly. I’m even a 3X in another helmet I have. It just depends on the brand! This is the first helmet I’ve bought online without trying it in so luckily it’s a perfect fit.
I've been looking at that helmet as well. I was a bit leary of buying through Chrome burner. Sounds like you got a great price and good service. Great review video. Thanks brother. Ride safe. 👊👍🇺🇸
Great video! Fantastic review on your modular Schuberth helmet! It definitely cuts the wind noise as you are driving the speed limit down the highway in Mexico. Sorry I'm bout six hours late and missed the premier, pizza and beer for supper put me to sleep with the tv on. You'll understand when you get to be a old man. I promise to do better for the next show! When it's time for a new helmet I will probably go modular and give the Schuberth brand very serious consideration, based on your review and likes on it. Well it's 3:04, I'm gonna go have my breakfast and coffee and start my day. Sorry for my lengthy comment. Ride and stay safe up there in Ye Olde Kentucky. Love ya Father Bobber.
Well look who the cat dragged in. Same here man, grilled some burgers and dogs, threw a few back and passed out on the couch. Just popped up about the same time you did, I reckon! Thanks for watching and love ya as always!
I am on the fence between the C5 and now C3 Pro thanks to you. I tried on both at a local store in a 2XL and I think the C3 Pro was slightly tighter. Going back to try on again and looking at the website you suggested. They are way less expensive than our US online retailers and stores. Thanks for a great video! 🍺
Now that I’ve put somewhere around 10,000 miles on this helmet, I can say that I am still absolutely in love with it. Winter riding - no cold air gets in, you’re warm and snug. I also rode across the Great Plains in the dead of summer at well over 100° and I was comfortable. Hot, of course, but not suffocating and had plenty of air flow. I just ordered a blue iridium face shield for it that should be here any day. Still recommend this helmet 100%. Thanks for watching!
@@FatherBobber I live in Scottsdale and need maximum airflow since I ride in 110+ temps for most of our extended summer temps. I'm looking forward to getting a new lid regardless of model. I've been suffering with a hot spot on my current oversized lid that wasn't fitted correctly. I'll update when I get one.
I've been wanting a modular, I thought I'd go with Shoei but now you've got me thinking about that one... I am going to try to put a couple different foam covers over my mic to see if that makes a difference...you'd think that the action camera manufacturers would take note but maybe they're owned by Blackrock who probably owns SoundCloud so theres that. The bike sounds amazing though!
