Love this. Enjoyed hearing about the teachers that my dad and grandma talked about. Mrs Hayes was my second grade teacher at Sunshine Elem. I never knew that she taught in a one room school. I’ve enjoyed taking my children to Bryson’s Store on occasion when we’ve been back to KY to visit. We homeschool, so the visit always counts as a history field trip. Purchased a washboard on one visit, when my daughter was doing a unit study onThe Little House on the Prairie(of course I made her wash clothes on it too). ❤️

This was an amazing video, like a walk back in time. I am so grateful to be able to see and hear my grandfather, Bud Bentley, tell his stories again. Thank you.
