And what people don’t realize is that it’s all an act. Skip is the executive producer and creator of the show and controls every single question. He did it for both shows. … he plays the he’ll like Vince McMahon, and his partner is the stone cold or the rock. Skip was a brady Hater, when the league fell in love with a young rookie quarterback … then everyone hated Brady because he was winning too much and wouldn’t you know it skip was the biggest Brady fan. When LeBron James was at his peak, and both political aisles loved him, Skip was a Hater. Skip writes himself as the bad guy because that is long-term easier to control and write. It’s much easier to run everything behind the scenes when you can just be a bad guy and if you screw it, take up and say something stupid it works in your favor . The ratings had gotten stagnant

Everyone but Schultz clearly doesn’t watch sports. The other dudes just watch whatever pops up on RU-vid. The show was created because of how well people reacted to skip on cold pizza. Stephen A will even acknowledge that he was brought on because of Skip Bayless. Skip created this whole genre, and I like everyone else hated him. But he understood how important it was for him to be the heel and it worked.

I feel this is a common issue with a mentor. Skip encouraged Shannon to develop. And after a certain point Shannon grew into his own personality and was not going to dim that light for Skip. Skip feels a certain way as he helped Shannon initially. But after a certain point you got to step aside or let them go. Skip wasn't ready for either and I feel that is where the disrespect from Skip began to surface. I wonder what Chael vs Skip would look like.

Then it further escalated when Skip accuses Shannon of being jealous of Tom Brady's career. When Shannon remarked that "I'm in the effing hall of fame," Skip exclaimed "so what." I think the take of SAS being the GOAT is being unfair to Skip. Love him or hate him, it's because of Skip that the modern sports debate shows are formatted the way that they are. They all likened SAS to MJ and Skip to Steve Nash, I think a more fair comparison is to liken Skip to Ric Flair. Ric was always the guy you loved to hate, he brought attention and made stars everywhere he went, and that is exactly the type of career that Skip has had
