Starting my day by listening to your “ Rustic Song”. So refreshening! The warm Sun light; The fresh air; The colorful tree leaves; The little creek and the cute farm animal. Your playful playing really brings out the fun characters of this piece . Wish I could be in the country now 🦆 🦆 🦆 😀

Listened to several other pianists’ recordings of this piece before I had the chance to listen to yours today. You literally breathed life into the music . (I didn’t have the urge to learn this piece until I heard your playing). No one plays the rolled chords as elegant as you do. The bass sound of your left hand playing makes it sound even more charming. Like your tempo: Moderato: not fast; The Dynamics; How you execute those Martellatos; the Anacrusis, the Grace notes. Everything is perfect. 💯💯💯. Added it to my “ To Learn List” 🤓

You imbue this piece with the joy that comes with being in nature. I envision a person (maybe Schumann) walking along a country path, just swinging his arms and being happy and loving the day. I agree with June in that in listening to other pianist's versions, I was not drawn to liking this piece. But I love the way you make the music sing. I am so happy that we are working on Album for the Young. Each piece is like a little gem. 💎
