An overview on the Lock Carrier Tool from Schwaben, which is a copy of Audi's 3411 specialty pin tool. The purpose of these is to give the front lock carrier on your Audi or VW support while it’s moved into what's called "service position". This means the lock carrier is disconnected and moved further away from the car which creates much more room to work around the front of your engine for common timing and cooling system jobs - all while keeping coolant and AC lines connected.
