U know before Islam invades there was not a nonveg tradition in india.from Punjab Sindh to northeast or south.even Punjabi which are famous for non veg dishes they all are strict veg. Only some not all tribal areas meat are consume that time. Because indian believe in non voilence first. And we respect all living being. Yes the video is true and there is so much more. A lot of it can be learnt in Ayurveda, the orignal form of medicine in the world. The body and its elements ( doshas). The reason our parents didn’t know coz a lot of our generations forgot about their own traditions due to the influence of foreign cultures, when India was invaded by barbaric Islamists and cruel British. They distorted our traditions and ridiculed our belief systems. The generations before us had to struggle to manage food on the table, they were forced to convert. India was under foreign rule for around 1000 yrs which is a long time. Sadly some of these traditions backed by science have been reduced to mere superstitions.
