XY chromosome in female is normally linked to one of the following: 1. Swyer syndrome: Most common, lack of functional ovaries. 2. Complete Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (CAIS): Resistant to male hormones, female appearance. 3. Partial Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (PAIS): Varying degrees of androgen resistance, mixed features. 4. Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH): Excess male hormones, masculinized genitalia. 5. 5-alpha-Reductase Deficiency: Apparent female at birth, male characteristics at puberty. The athlete in question clearly does not have CAIS or PAIS looking at her muscle mass compared to other females. Her body is clearly responding well to the androgens in her body, which may not be at level of other men but are significantly more than most female athletes completing in that competition. Other disorders can still be considered. However, Y chromosome alone is an acceptable variable that contributes to athletic success in elite female athletes including those with 46,XY DSD. Ferguson-Smith) More research is needed on the topic, however, it seems unfair to other female athletes who are losing the competition without even putting up a real challenge.
Genetic advantage has always played a key role in sports. Take Phelps as an example, not only his body structure benefitted him but his ability to produce lesser lactic acid than typical players helped him a lot (I am not undermining his hard work). And there are many other athletes who hit the genetic lottery. So, all of them competing against typical players should be unfair not just Amane. But in the case of Amane, her genetics made her physically stronger but didn't allow her to look like a typical female that's where the issue is!

Nahi hoga. Brain has lots of protective layer. The first is skull. Inside the skull, it's covered by cranial meninges consisting of outer dura mater and inner pia mater. I don't think an activity like bathing with cold water can cause harm to the brain with all the barriers.
