The telescope at 1:07 doesn't appear to have a counterweight attached, nor does it seem to have the optical tube balanced on the other axis. Tsk tsk. :)
I could not see the eclipse live today because of the weather where I was overcast and the eclipse far east. anything I hope to see them again next September 28
can gas giants become a solid surface planet? you know- due to its iron rains that as fall to the centre might start to solidify when met by pressure and gravity. if not_ what happens to all the iron ?
