Just got the platin. Had to play the game twice. I played like Sven Schroeder said. Any enemy you scan, go straight to the Pillar to save it. Definitely don't die if you've scanned an enemy and you haven't been to the pillar yet. With me it worked. Got platin at the Fungu. I died twice I can't say if it's 100% the solution. But it worked for me 👍🏆
I can 100 percent confirm that it loses track of enemies scanned if you die before reaching a new checkpoint. I was on my 3rd playthrough and made sure this time I didn't die. Unlocked and got the platinum!
I played 3 times, the first playthrough with death, the second with one death and back to the pillar... the third one without death, without saving the game at the pillars... the trophy didn't pop up ;( it's bugged
in date 04/04/2023 the trophy is still broken , the only way to get it and not die after each scan to the next column. final boss is not required. thanx for this video. nice job
On my first playtrough no trophy . Second playthrough in one session(3,5hours) No exiting the game . After scanning couple enemy’s back to pillar to save. Died once but important is not dying when after the scan without going to the pillar. And can confirm too that Omega not needed ! After the mushroom guy the trophy popped! Thx ✌🏼
Thanks for sharing! Can’t help with the bug but at least this video shows there’s no extra hidden enemy’s or different ones on harder difficulty settings
I'm joining to others and say it, the trophy is still bugged as 22 march 2023, it sucks to do a new playthrough just for one (1) trophy and then the Platinum.
Don't listen to those guys - i didn't die anytime on my first playthroguh, scanned all enemies and still have no trophy. It's just bugged and there is no universal solution how to avoid that.
@@Proklax indeed. But finally i've managed to do that. All u Have to do is complete speedrun playthrough in one sitting, without dying even once and saving oftenly (do it twice every time to be sure).
Does anyone know if there is any plan to fix the bug or if DEV team is working on any patch? Starting all over again just for that, without being sure that this time will work is a pain....
Yeah both scan trophies are definitely bugged, but they can be got. I got both on my second play through, at the time of posting my guides I thought I had simply missed something. I wonder if…… 1) Scanning something and then dying before the next check point makes the game forget the scan or 2) Enemies/Plants/Blisters etc… can only be scanned in certain locations and once passed can’t be scanned later even when seen again…. In my videos those are the locations I used to get the trophies. Having seen comments I have put up another video showing my entire log list, so you can compare it to your own and see if anything is different from your own. Really hope this helps!
@@epiplays2426 I just got the trophy on my PS4 edition play through without any problem. I have another idea for solution: if you quit and return on the last pillar you have to replay the last kill/scan and probably it will pop up
as of april 10 2023 the trophy is still bugged but if you scan an enemy and quit the game before saving at a pillar you can still get the trophy so you cant die before a checkpoint of you scanned an enemy
You can still get it my friend, you’ve just got to be willing to do a second play through, make sure you save the game after each scan before dying, that “seems” to be the bug.
how did you manage to start a new game with all the skills and weapons? encountered a bug at 100% monster scanning, but the new game is a naked character
Sadly you can’t carry over all your weapons/skills, it always resets your character. The trophy is bugged but can be got, not 100% sure what the fix is but comments indicate that it’s linked to scanning and then dying before the save/Check point.
No new game+ mode at present, I’m at work so can’t check the video at the moment but can assure you I had nothing carried over from another play through. I got the trophy on my second naked play through after the Fungus enemy
@@epiplays2426 yes, I passed and collected it. you just need to keep yourself on the pylon after the scan and not die before the pylon. after saving, you can die
It’s bugged mate! Loads of people (Me included) had to do two or more play throughs to get it. I don’t think the final boss actually counts as I got the trophy after scanning the tall fungus enemy. Your right, the save system makes it a nightmare to try figure out/get
Your the second person to mention this, I had to play through it twice as well but thought it was just me. I’m uploading a video right now to you tube showing the complete scan list I had at the time of getting both scan trophy’s. Use that to see if your missing anything. I assumed in my first play through that I had scanned something, died before the next check point, the game forgot the scan and I (the player) assumed it would remember it and never rescanned….. That’s my current theory.
No, you should get the trophy after the tall Fungus Humanoid. But as you may of seen from other comments the trophy is bugged so be safe and save after every scan

Trophy still still bugged :( I did a first run without knowing that there was a problem with scan and save. In my second run I was careful to save after each creature without dying...No trophy :(
@@epiplays2426 As I'm stubborn I made a third attempt and finally I got the trophy ! I did the same thing as my second run...I don't understand but got the trophy and platinum. 👍
Yeeeah fuck this. Ive been through the game twice now and once again got cheated out of the trophy. Im done. I like the game, but this needs a patch, badly. Ill just uninstall now. Cba with this anymore.,
