All depends on your 5 choosen topics. I suggest NPTEL lectures for good understanding rather than books.

There is no cut off in BARC , last ek list aayi thi...and selected candidates k names the bas.

It's your mind switch and basically they want you to think wise on their situational based question like Q- why not C14 in NMR Q- zero order reaction orientation Q- Finding dissociation constant for weak acid Q- from graph to order of reaction Q- metal rod temperature Q- temperature impacts on rate Q- differentiate solids via conductance on practical basis. Etc..
