I think it's about our education system too. In the entire syllabus from class 1-12 there is only few times where we found things about Rationalism, Rational thinking, Critical thinking. There is very few chapters about the Evolution and Darwin. 99% Indians don't even heard of Christopher Hitchens, Richard Dawkins or Sam Harris. The authority knows if we get more rational and do critical thinking, We will refuse to give them votes which are the only thing they wants. One of the reason Religion is one of the aspects of getting votes in the sub continent.

Some podcasts are talking about "Kya aapne bhoot dekha hai", "kaise hote h bhoot" "Yati se mile ho aap"? And some are focusing on great content Thank you rusty for calling intellectual people and not some conspiracy theorists who claim to know about everything that too without giving any source or evidence for things they claim.

People in this comments section missing alllllll the points what he said and disregarding him because his opinion is opposite to theirs. 👏🏽

Karma or conscience is probably a product of evolution. Evolution has programmed our brain to distinguish actions that are supportive to our existence as a species (the good) or detrimental to it ( the bad). Karma happens because you do someone some harm , then the chances of him or someone else doing the same to you increases.

The podcast will really get a lot of hate tbh...but i agree with u... People really are hard to understand n to get them understand. Scientific knowledge come from scientific observation n trial n error not from some cultural textbook n people should stop going back in the modern age ... Sadhguru like people who doesn't know anything about (Western) lol science has no right to say against it He once said scientific textbooks doesn't help... imagine the effect on the people watching him ... N science is way old than any religion It is curiosity to know how it works y it works.....when the fire was lit or when he saw the lightning the first Human would hv really thought how n why.... If people want to believe in spirituality n stuff it's fine.... problem is when they try to mix it with science n use it to back up by science...like people berrbicep saying he had quantum entanglement which moved his soul to higher dimension... This is pure nonsense n just to attract mindless audience.... We freakin discovered dark matter n dark energy, anti atoms , quantum field , entanglement, cmb, DNA atoms cell biology, age of universe LHC a freakin telescope on space .... And many such discoveries with "science" ....the very phone u r using is the product of that backed by thousands of scientists who worked for it ... JEE bohot naale keede level ka exam hai jisko faltu mein overhyped kar rakha h. Fyi jee advanced mein 40-50% marks laane pe under 5000 rank pakki hoti hai. 55% pe toh under 1000 rank pakki. This is statistics of india. Ek aur cheez idhar iit mein bhi ese log exist karte hai jo believe karte hai ki Hanuman chalisa padhne se depression cure ho jaata h. This Pranav guy seems to me supremely ignorant about the fact that his experiences are not the only experiences in the world. He's full of speculations, false analogies and kinda "I-know-it-all" arrogance.

Heads up: I strongly believe in God and the fact that not everything that happens in life has scientific reasoning. There are certain things that I'd like to categorize under the domain of destiny. Living a life based on scientific reasoning can only be carried out when you don't believe in god and in concepts like karma. Having belief in god gives you that very hope which often allows people to go through hardships. For me, the problem starts when people start to question someone's beliefs. Unless and until my belief is not harming anybody in society, I think all's good, no? 1) There are far too many things that happen in an individual's life that have no scientific backing. Like taking birth with a unique face, unique voice, and unique birthmarks. When my existence on this planet was not in my hand, it gets difficult to have scientific reasoning for everything and anything else. 2) Talking about Vimanas, I have read more absurd things in other religious texts such as a god took 6 days to create the universe. I wonder if he has made a scientific video on this. Let me know. Me having belief that Vimanas existed is not impacting my life or anyone else's. I believe that Ramayana actually took place and Ravan took Goddess Sita on a plane-like structure. And you might feel that I'm just calling out other religious texts but what happens is if you try and find scientific faults 'mostly' in just one group of religious texts, it creates a perception in the minds of users that this guy has a problem with only one religion. If science is completely foolproof and has answers to everything, make videos on the above-mentioned topics as well. The question is - Does science have an answer for everything? 3) The incident which Vedant shares at 21:12 about a relative sharing a Whatsapp University fact. I have myself come across a lot of them and they are just as weird as they can be. I agree with the science guy's explanation 100%. Don't attack anyone. Just put forth your point. 4) The science guy says he calls out anybody who spreads misinformation. Surprisingly, all the names he took are big RU-vidrs. It must be a coincidence or a genuine attempt to call out these big youtubers or maybe it was the lowest-hanging fruit. Call out these big RU-vidrs, and get views. As he mentioned earlier, only things that have scientific evidence should be believed. Does this mean that he'll call out all the religious people in the world who believe in any god coz where's the scientific evidence of the existence of god? 5) The science guy says as long as these guys continue to spread misinformation, I'll continue to make content. For someone who doesn't believe in god, everything around the concept of spirituality, religious texts, and god is misinformation, isn't it? And I've made this inference from what he has only said in this podcast. 6) Around 49:54, the science guy says that he doesn't know why this kind of religious and spiritual content is getting popular. There are a couple of reasons I can think of: (i) Students being taught distorted histories such as Mughals were shown as lovable emperors when the reality was different. Now with the ease of access to resources more people, the truth is being known to many people and eventually, it became a topic of Hindu kings vs all others. Now imagine being taught about Hindu kings and their dismal state only to find out that wasn't true, what kind of response do you expect? (ii) When US media houses make fun of ISRO sending 100+ satellites in one go by using a picture of a cow in their newspapers, people feel their culture is being targeted. What happens when your culture is targeted? You go out all guns blazing to promote your culture which, I must agree, also creates a scenario where a very large amount of misinformation gets shared. (iii) Everyday you hear stories of stones getting pelted on Hindu groups. What do you think this leads to? Adding fuel to fire, a sitting CM says that Hindus shouldn't go into areas of a particular community. Why? When you're constantly being threatened, abused, and made to feel like an outsider because of your religion in your own country, it hurts and you make deliberate attempts to spread more about your culture. 7) And about he Suhani Shah thingy. Listen so what Suhani Shah does in 10 minutes, Baba Bagheshwar does in 5 seconds. I am ready to believe that he has no 'Kripa' if Suhani Shah accepts that that guy is 1000x better at mind-reading skills than her. You look at things with a clear mind and just compare the skills. You'd have your answer. I mean she made the claim that he has no kripa. When you make such a claim, you are going to get criticism from the people who follow him. She could have just said what he's doing, I can do too. I won't comment on what he claims he has. Jyaada hoshiyaari tum karo, victim bhi tum bano. Wow. I also took a moment to have a look at his youtube channel and found out that most content is around Hindu scriptures only. I wonder if he's scared about talking about other 'unscientific things' in other religions coz there sure are many many such things. Though Vedant is one of my favorite content creators, I feel that he's calling out a particular group of people way too much. It's always the same thing that BeerBiceps is promoting misinformation without providing any evidence. It's the same thing every time. In the end, I thoroughly enjoyed writing this all down(lol) and this podcast. Also, take a moment to appreciate the irony that a man who has the name of Goddess Radha and Lord Krishna in his name doesn't believe in them. It's interesting.

Anybody having any problem with hinduism ( I saw somebody in comments poking others in this matter) acharya prashant would answer your problems, I am not well equipped.. He is an authority so try listening before barking! Especially the ones who masquerade in the holy name of gautam buddha(🙏)

The interviewer isn't even conducting an interview in the first place. Or if they call it a conversation, then the conversation isn't happening as it should. Rather than being how it's intended to be, the interaction is used as a platform to showcase the assumed extravagance of the interviewer or the prominent participant in the conversation, possibly for better reach. The way almost all the arguments put forward by Pranav is so blatantly put off without any regard to the basic ethics of a conversation is upsetting. It's especially upsetting because even after being on the same side of the cause if the conversation seems so less respectful, then how must one expect any display of respect for the other side when there occurs a real argument? (One among many references: 48:02)
