Although it probably did not make much of a difference for what we saw in the video. But did anyone else notice the Kubota had a much smaller bucket than the others? Trying to make the dirt demonstration perform that much better I am guessing? I really like Kubota, don't get me wrong. But salesmen are salesmen at any company I guess..
I put teeth on my small bucket for digging and grading. Got a deep 42” bucket for dirt, gravel and mulch. I really like the small bucket because it’s easier to handle as well thru gates.
i own ditch witch machines 2 sk800 and a 1050.I can tell u from what i see that ditch in that competition is not moving its normal speed, its way faster than that especially in reverse. That operator is holding back on that machine
So Vermeer isn’t competition? The ctx100 is a monster. The kubota is a nice looking machine but when it comes to ground engagement I want to see them side by side. I’m hedging on the ctx to our perform it. 40hp turbo. Higher lift also.
Not comparable to the CTX at all. Not even close. Its laughable and down right dishonest to insinuate that it will outperform the 1050 in this vid. Loader cycle and track speed?.... with no load? Ridiculous. Put it against the 1050 with a 48 in. bucket digging or moving a pile of dirt. Not going to happen. There is absolutely no way that it will compete with the 1050 with a 24 hp engine and 2800 psi system pressure. The 1050 puts roughly 7 more hp to the attachment than the Kubota makes at the crankshaft and with almost twice the engine displacement the 1050 has way more torque. You can increase efficiency through good power management in the pump set up but you can't get something from nothing.
That’s as poor a demonstration that I have ever seen. Not one of the machines looks to have self leveling lift/bucket configuration. The true test would be with equal volume and weight of material for comparison when loading, lifting, traveling and dumping. This nonsense cheapens the product and its viability in the market place. Shame on you Kubota.
Sorry, but the SCL1000 looks like a flipping nightmare to maintain. I've seen 1000 hr reviews and the machine looks like it went thru a mad max film, and has had endless repairs. Goofy little joysticks, bad fuel delivery, the list goes on. Far too many electronics for a serious working machine. I am extremely disappointed in Kubota. They really dropped the ball on this unit.
It’s not even a challenge compared to the bobcat and dingo both are trash IMO. The real competitors are Vermeer and ditch witch for sure and I know for a fact Vermeer has a higher hinge pin height
Coming from first hand experience this machine does not have a higher lift height then the ditchwich sk850. I jumped from a brand new sk850 to a kabota scl1000. Exact same lift height. Scl 1000 is a very tippy machine. Back front left and right. I wish I could sit here and say the scl 1000 is the champ but so far it just isn’t. This is kabotas first mini skid I hope they learn from this model and improve.
very small exit angle at the back because of the tanks. at the comparison contest it seemed that the car was moving very unsteadily empty with the maximum speed an obvious advantage back
As an owner of an NT85 Bobcat, and a ditch which as Kate and 50 I can tell you hands down the ditch which operator was holding back her only had it at 2500 rpm not 3000 ditch which will mop the floor in an all out speed test in forward and reverse with any manufacturer out there
Scl 1000 nice looking machine . Price tag is a little staggering @ $34,500 and you don’t even get a bucket. Add on a bucket , forks and auger it about $38,000 price tag from local dealer. Oh yes plus tax, hard to justify @ over 40k
Based on what? it seems like toro is plauged with problems. If kubota didnt exist, my shootout order would look like: 1. Ditch witch 1550. 2. Vermeer Ctx160. 3. Bobcat mt100. 4. Toro tx1000/2000
@@MTnumber11 I have a 2017 tx1000. The only problem I have had was 3 bad roller wheels on the tracks. Toro covered it for free. I use it hard and the machine is amazing.
Absolutely. Own 2 of them. They are the OG of walk behinds. Zero problems . All the kinks have been dealt with many years ago. All the new machines are just starting with the kinks.
