It wasnt really the first, the man from the swedish station were the first victims, then tge thing infected the dog and got to the station from the americans
The tales of Vietnam Mickey and Antarctic Shaggy really needs their own complete fully animated episodes. This channel is one of the finest I have ever come across as of late.
Nobody is talking about how Fred was still himself while fused to “The Scoob” and begging to be ended and that is the scary part for me. You don’t get assimilated immediately even when you are nearly fully engulfed by it. You are still alive and can feel and think...at least for a time.
'As much as he wanted his friends back, he could not bring them back to how they were. It was agonizing for him to watch. In 2 hours, Shaggy would freeze to death. He lay down on the pile of death he brought upon himself. He remembered all the times when he used to solve mysteries, the pirate, the space monster, the gods, everything. Later, the recovery team found him. They wondered why he set the camp on fire. How weird.
However, The Scoob was never to be found. Due to its unforgivable and ruthless nature, it has been brought to the realm of entity where it has access to unlimited victims. The new killer is The Scoob...
@@lordgarfield6982 and so is death, we are just puppets being manipulated by stronger beings, which said beings are also being manipulated and so on and so forth
Like I killed them man, but I don’t know if that was my friend or something I can’t even comprehend, it’s dead now but, that will live with me until I die like zoinks dude
This animation captured every feeling of The Thing. The aspect of a dog copy. The human mutations. The cold environment. The sounds of the Thing screeching. The fiery background. Even the music. Its perfect.
I swore to never let something like this happen again. Too scared to start a new, I blew up the planet so It couldn't spread to other planets. Before the earth was gone, I took my leave to a different universe. An universe where nobody knew my name or my past. Silently wondering between planets and solar systems.
Knowing he could never fix the past. Shaggy started training his body and mind, so next time, he'd be able to fight the beast even without a flamethrower if he had to. Then it turned out there was a great deal of hidden power inside him.....
"What do we do, Shaggy?" "Why don't we wait here and see what happens." Scooby accepted the scooby snack shaggy gave him, at that moment shaggy knew that wasn't his friend standing in front of him, it was that thing desperatly trying to survive and multiply, he wasn't in shape to do anything about it though, neither of them would last much longer anyways.
wrong, the thing is a perfect imitation. If it's host would have rejected the scooby snack, so too would the imitation. It doesnt tell you anything about if they are an imitation or not.. yes this is a nitpick.
@@KanonHara well this was a reference to the end of the movie, and that's how he discovered the last guy with him was actually the thing. He gave a wine bottle to the other guy, expecting him to refuse it because a human would know the virus spreads through saliva, but he accepted it
@@salabimsalabao no. i'm saying that that theory for the ending of the thing is wrong. Macready never figured out if childs was the thing. Think about it, the thing imitates perfectly, so why would it blow it's cover by acting out of character and drinking something that it's human host wouldn't drink? basically, thing-childs would only carelessly drink the drink IF human childs would have done the same thing. Ergo you cannot figure out if childs is the thing or not based on this test.
@@KanonHara Actually that makes a lot of sense now that I'm thinking about it. If the thing learns how it's host would act, it should learn that they can't drink from someone else's bottles. We see it doing things the human host would not though, so maybe that's an explanation? It's really confusing.
@@salabimsalabao I think the "imitation to a fault" theory is true based on it replicating that one guy's heart attack, and it must perfectly replicate personality and memories otherwise it would be caught out even without a blood test. You're right though, it does deviate from perfect imitation IE when it plants false evidence and destroys the blood. However, I question why The Thing would deviate from its imitation just to take a swig of beer... to celebrate its victory perhaps?
This was a precursor to shaggy's awakening. He was not always what he is now, but even so, he cannot undo what has been done without consequences. He can sacrifice his undeniable power to return to the past leading up to the events in which he gains his power, but to do so would bring back the beast which lead him to the circumstances he was in, with events set in stone which cannot be undone without him sacrificing himself, a risk too great to take when confronting the abomination. Could the others have it in them to finish the job? could one of them gain the same power he could? the gamble was too high and the risks outweighed the reward. With no other choice, Shaggy simply moves on, knowing well that even with his absolute control over reality, even if he was to restart the universe as a whole, the beast would simply return again and again, the cycle continuing as he has done so before, and knows that the beast will never truly be gone, a reason to why he does not alter time, either to go back or to go forward, if he goes back, he will undo his deed, if he goes forward, he might give the beast a chance to make it's move should it still be alive. Shaggy is powerful, yet in the face of the beast, that THING, there will always be too much on the line to put even his loved ones above himself.
"With great power comes great responsibility" Shaggy being the most powerful entity in the universe , does not prevent that he does not have feelings , even gods feel pain when it comes to mental pressure , shaggy felt that pain when he had to push the trigger to burn the only trustworthy friends he had , and god faced defeat for the first time . Shaggy's mind was consumed with just one regret of not saving his friends in time , and the only words he uttered were ," I was fast..... *but not fast enough* "
The story The mystery gang was called on a mission that reported screams coming form a facility, what they thought was a fun filled mystery with a twist villain turned out to the the death of everyone. On there way they saw radiation sight, scull an crossbones with a yellow triangle, the area was so deep into the freezing parts of Alaska they had to slide down a cliff just to enter. What they saw would have scarred them for live if they survived, lumps of people dead together, 2 heads and a Melted body, Sever body lets in a melted body, some of them aren’t even dead but moaning and asking for death. They saw the Creature, the parisite infected scooby who this time went with Fred then they encountered Velma and Dafnie then shaggy. Shaggy ran for his life seeing death 5 times nearly being merged with that thing. He picked up a flamethrower from a dead officer who’s suit was still in tact but his body was 5 feet away from the clothes almost as if he had killed himself. Then shaggy Finnaly found it, his friends asking and pleading for death and he said 1 Finnaly word “Scooby Dooby do, what ARE you?” He said saddened and nearly crying but managing to scream it out then he pulled the trigger watching everyone die then we would later die of frost bite but Atleast he died solving one last mystery with his fiends
It was in these final moments with his friends, and his life... that Shaggy Rogers finally defeated all of his fears. His time of running, screaming for his life, from every masked old greedy man was over. For this monster, this monster that had consumed his friends, no family! Was a far greater threat than anything else he had ever faced. If he would die with this... thing, then he would gladly do so. For his family, and for humanity.
"I always knew a dog shouldn't be able to talk, it never bothered me, part of its power I suppose, I knew something was off, but it didn't, or perhaps couldn't occur to me that something needed to be done about it. I don't know why it eventually did...but I wish it hadn't. the others, they were the lucky ones...they died believing monsters weren't real." Edit - end quote.
"I am sorry, Shaggy." With a hauntingly deformed body with the rest of the gang getting consumed by it, Scooby finally reveals his true self. "Scoobs, was it all a lie? Were all the moments we spent all a facade? All the mysteries we solved, the adventures we had...." Shaggy looks at Scooby in the eye, but he knows the scooby he knew was no longer there...or even worse, was never even there since the beginning... "I see now, all this time, we never believed monsters were real, all our lives we spent taking the masks off of people pretending to be monsters....without realizing there was a real one hiding among us, not in masks, but flesh..." Scooby, staring at Shaggy, still stayed silent. "Of course...all this time, we solved a lot of mysteries, but there was one mystery we were never able to solve, the mystery of a talking dog, it was a talking dog, yet somehow we never thought about it too much, because dwelling on it too much....would've made us fear the unknown....fear you...." Shaggy then resolved himself, to ask the question that was on the back of everyone's mind, the question that for years no one wanted to ask, the question that everyone was scared to ask, the question that was the biggest mystery of them all, a mystery no one has yet solved, a mystery everyone was scared to solve.... "Scooby doo, who really are you?"
This could be their future, imagine how amazing a dark animation like that would be. Watching the fan animation "Velma Meets the Original Velma" from Canal Avocado Animations, I imagine that after a new restart forced by Scooby, we would have a version where they managed to fight the dog style in the film, and finally finish with the loops.
Shaggy:" I remember now, that moment Scoob didnt want any scoobie snack, I knew something was off yet I didnt see that coming." *takes sip out of the bottle*
The Thing immitates it's victims to perfection. If Scooby Doo would have wanted a scoobie snack then the Scooby Doo Thing would too, unless there was an objective blockage such as the Scooby Doo Thing believing the snack would be poisoned or something like that.
Shaggy turns around to see the decapitated head of Scrappy Doo fleeing the scene. He realizes he no longer has fuel. Before the head turns around to stare back, he can only mutter "You gotta be fuckin' kidding."
I knew it was useless, so I blew up the planet. I made sure to use enough power to give It no chance of survival. I took my leave to another universe were I was just a normal stranger to the people, making sure that nobody would find out about my past
@AR - 09ZZ 704501 Heart Lake SS Why would I be offended about someone liking/loving my comment? That aside though I'm glad you do *is happy*. It was my hope my comment would make some people chuckle.
They spent years chasing monsters, Little did they know there was a monster among them. On December 14, 1982, the well-respected "Mystery Inc." went to the Arctic to investigate strange activity. The last contact with them was on December 18, of the same year, being the voice of Norville "Shaggy" Rogers "It's over....where not coming back" Some claim to also here Rogers state "We should have known" however it can not be proven. A Search and Rescue mission comprised of Military personnel and multiple close friends Mystery Inc was shortly after sent out. Norville was the first found, next being the mangled remains of the rest of Mystery Inc. They were burned and melted, at first, it was assumed Rogers Great Dane Scooby-Doo was another victim but soon it was discovered by dissection that the Killer was in fact Scooby. At this time we are unknown what Scooby-Doo was but it was never a dog.
"It wasn't an extraterrestrial shapeless being! It was the head scientist of the Norwegian research station after all!" "And I'd have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for those meddling kids!"
After our hero defeated the creature, he light up his cigar and entered the research base, everything was covered in blood, but he didn't care, he just activated the heater, and opened the TV. "Another mystery solved, the last one"
@@chasebranstetter3888 Scoob would do the same, both colossal titans clashing against one another with immense force and suprising speed. However "Garfield", as the old man had called this spider-like monster, was getting the upper hand as the fight raged on. Despite Scoob's huge body mass and tanky skin, he would not be able to match well against an agility based monster like Garfield. He needed to transform into some kind of four legged creature quick, a Lion? He could turn into a Cheetah and run away... "I smell your fear, mutant, I hope you won't run away from me now. I was just starting to enjoy this"
*Oh yes! It's clearly not just too fucking obvious what's it a refference of, so I am gonna type here of what is it a refference to show everyone I noticed it!*
Shaggy wasn't born with all his power, this is his origin story. The hell he saves all of us from he dosent use 100 percent of his power because. The only real monster was him

As long as one single cell is left out there, he has not killed it. One single mangeled corpse, one single blood stain, one single hair, as long as one cell is still alive the chances for it returning to undo history is here and real.
@@antoniudraculea4507 that's the thing, as soon as you introduce something that can infect without a cure or vaccine for it you've made a timebomb until it eventually wins
Shaggy was the only one left unassimilated. Perhaps even after Scooby's transformation there was a part of him that still recognised his best friend? Imagine Shaggy looking into his friend's eyes, recognising but not recognising his best friend, knowing that he was the only one who could end his suffering. Tragic.
let's be honest, if the thing killed scooby, shaggy would go all out, no restrictions no nothing and all of existence, every single dimension and every single timeline would cease to exist

He ran his flamethrower dry, and as he looked at the burned remains, he fell to his knees in despair. *Like, if only I could've stopped this!* his mind screamed. He fell to his knees. Trembling from not the cold that settled on him, but the horror he felt. As he gazed again on the torched what remained of his friends, something inside... broke. That- that Thing killed them. Killed them all. Fred, Daphne, Velma, and worse of all, Scoob. Out of his mouth came a horrid cry, like a man in agony. The cry grew stronger, the land cracked and deformed around him, and a bright spark within became a flame. A power within awoke, white aura flaring to life around him. "Zoinks!" He exclaimed, looking at himself. "Like, what is this?" He arose, almost lifted to his feet by unknown forces. He was stronger, far more powerful than he ever was. Not even when he had first been in a flow state. This was... ultra instinct.
Scooby Dooby Doo, what are you? He had some work to do now. Scooby Dooby Doo, what are you? They needed some help from you now. Come I Scooby Doo, I remember you. Now pretending you're the same creature. But you're not fooling me, cause I can see, The way you shake and disfeature. And Scooby Doo if you come through You're gonna have yourself a Scooby Snack, that's a fact Scooby Dooby Doo, here are you You're ready and you're repugnant If we can't out run you Schooby Doo, I know we'll face his judgement.
Shaggy found it hard to believe that this was truly his friend; the great dane he had raised from a pup. But alas, it was. There was no villain in a mask, only his life time buddy. Surely this wasn't the end for them, and surely Shaggy would meet his friend in hell. But for now, all Shaggy had was one more mystery to solve.
The Scoobmind holding up Velma: This one is machine and nerve...and has its mind concluded. The Scoobmind holding up Daphne: This one is but flesh and faith...and is the more deluded.
Shaggy knew exactly what it was. It wasn’t Scooby anymore. It was a monster, attempting to imitate his best friend. It had consumed everything, and everyone else. Shaggy had nothing else to lose, but his life.
“You the only one who made it?” Scrappy said as he stepped into view, flamethrower in hand. “Not the only one.” Shaggy said, cautiously looking at him. “Did you kill it?” Scrappy asked. “Where were you, Scrappy?” “Thought I saw Velma, I went out after her, got lost in the storm.” He answered. (Shaggy laughs) Scrappy then sits down and says: “Fire’s got the temperature up all over the camp. Won’t last long, though.” “Neither will we.” “How will we make it?” Scrappy questioned. “Maybe we shouldn’t.” Shaggy replied. “If you’re worried about me...” Scrappy begins, but is quickly interrupted by Shaggy. “If we got any surprises for each other... I don’t think we’re in like, any shape to do anything about it, man.” “Well... What do we do?” “Why don’t we just.... wait here for a little while, see what happens.” Shaggy suggested. Shaggy then hands Scrappy a bottle of booze, who then takes a swig from it without worrying about possibly being infected. This caused Shaggy to chuckle futilely, now knowing which of the two isn’t who they say they are. And there was nothing he could do, he’d just used the last of his flamethrower’s fuel on that abomination.
Shaggy: "Like, watching Thelma in there gave me an idea that, like, every little part of him was a whole. Zoinks. Like how every little piece was an individual animal with a built-in desire to protect its own life."
The thing actually just kills their prey and makes them look like they are in pain to intimidate anything else, the colour of space is more of weird merging people together
