Big up scorcher..big fan of his growing up and I can feel the excitement from Poet too great interview. Bigger picture, sadly I feel scorcher is a prime example of having great talent (music and acting) but doesn’t truly know how good he is. He’s been institutionalised by the ends and prison system and if he kept his head down would have blown way more. I still think he can blow with whatever he puts his mind to but like everyone he’d need to make a choice about the life he wants to live.

Being rebellious throughout your youth is fine if you can get in a position to utilize shortcuts and win that lottery ticket in certain industries. Regardless of drive. But Poet isn't crediting that Music artist/Footballer/RU-vidr is a dream in terms of the amount of places available. Stating Troy Deeney etc is like a carrot that fools the masses. There is a limit regardless of the talent or work ethic in those industries in terms of being in front of the camera. Behind the scenes is where the masses can get on that ladder and make sure the whole culture gets on that ladder. Some will then mix their talent and drive to a place which can get that lottery ticket. But the key is making sure everyone is on that ladder throughout. And that means real clear paths without shortcuts which can hold up long term.
