This is me rewatching this and my coach was surprised when I went from 4ppg to 18ppg in two months. tips for forwards, find your hot spots during practice to get more efficient shots in game I score the majority of my points of fadeaways instead of just throwing dumb shots and getting benched.
so when im in a game i should only do what im best at? I'm a small forward and i want to become a better shooter so should i only layup or shoot in games even though i know i will probably miss
@@izaiuh_ if you can play against other players on your team during practices or free time you should try to shoot some shots against them so that you get a feel of what it’s like to shoot in a game and once you get confident in your shot try to shoot a few in a game. just be confident in your shot and don’t stop shooting if you miss
need more shooting tips and drills bc my shot is decent in warmups but when it comes to the real game I’m so inconsistent and it always feels awkward releasing the ball bc I’m scared of getting blocked so I throw it up as fast as possible
Fact is your shot probs just isn't good enough like accurate enough. If u can make 80/100 in practice (make sure you count how many shots and makes u do every workout) then you will be shooting better in game
This really changed my mindset of how to play the game I used to just try to score and get numbers as soon as possible but by looking at this 5 points per game changed my mindset and boosted my confidence of my scoring ability
Did you know that you can go to heaven for free? This one decision can change your eternity forever. Jesus died for both mine and your sins. All you have to to is confess that you’re a sinner and accept Jesus as your savior. 👍🏽
Thanks this is very helpful. Also for ball handling drills I was wondering that if I substituted the basketball for a tennis ball would that still improve my ball handling skills.
Never thought getting 20+ points would be this ez to illustrate I’m 10 years old medium sized gaurd I in my first season I averaged 8ppg then in my second this was when I fell off 5ppg then in my third 6 ppg but I got y’all in fourth season I promise y’all ima come back with 20+ppg trust .
Guys, i need tips FAST. I have a tournament tomorrow and i want to know how i can score more and be more aggressive. I am in the 8th grade and am 6'2 (please dont clown me for not already scoring lots) so please comment quickly
I've been practicing for weeks straight and I'm really excited for my season but does anyone know what position I should play if I'm 150lbs and 5'10 in 8th grade?
Right now center but if you want to play at the next level practice your dribbling and try to become a guard. You might not grow anymore so it’s always good to have a backup plan and if you do grow now you’re a center that can dribble
@@solar_cpg8833 My philosophy is different. I think a PG should be able to score 20 if needed. But doesn’t need to average 20 a game. A PG’s first job is set up the offense for teammates. Passing threat first, scoring threat second.
@@StreetballStrategies well pgs are the most over saturated position in the nba and college so averaging 20 is just a requirement at this point if you want to stand out, if you’re just tryna to be a regular player then just play your role and help your team win ig
This video is for point guards only though im a small forward and i didnt really get anythijg from this becuase i am a really good shot but nobody passes it to me is there a way i could get someone to pass to me
But like at the same time they are going to expect the pick and roll and get me all the time I need to use my dribling but this is the problem when I have the ball I can go off the pack and roll and see what I can figure second I do the same thing they are goin go to assume I going that way
Boy acting like everything working this perfectly in real games😂😂 it's good tho in terms of not making it bigger than what it is but at the same time is not always rainbows like that
Do you have someone who can help you study with if, so study this and go to a local park where you can practice and they can coach or you can do it on your own
I'm gonna try out for the team so I need this lol. I averaged 12 points last season and I think that's pathetic cuz I was SG but I was also only 5'4 and the smallest on my team
I had my first league game after 2 years and i didnt score in the first 15 minutes then i started scoring and in the 4th quarter i scored 11 with 9 points in 3 minutes
