Salim Malik was a natural choice in 94. Wasim Akram could be captain after him as Malik turned 35 in 1998. Wasim could easily enjoy captaincy for 5-7 years after Malik.

Whatever he says, most of it makes sense. Apart from that, very few players were not involved in match fixing and grouping issues. Amir Sohail, Basit Ali, Rashid Latif and Shoaib Akhter were the clean players.

The irony is saleem malik is constantly being ridiculed by the host by his line of questioning.....its not an interview its an interrogation.....yahya husseni needs to be taught interviewing skills....using big heavy urdu words doesn't make you a top notch host....the host has not shown an iota of respect for malik....cheat or no...salim malik has contributed more to his field in 90s only than yahya husseni in his entire career....

I have lost all respect for Waqar and Wasim after this!! Salim Malik looks very sincere and honest!! Obviously he was the escape goat and I wish him the best of luck.
