That simply not true. Most people who play games don’t try to make it a competition. It’s a damn game let people have fun they ain’t paying you to play online.
@@97NikeSbfrom an actual gamers perspective, there’s no fun in a game where you just press one button or have a guaranteed goal when you wrap the net, if a game ain’t hard, it ain’t fun, if you play 20 minutes once a month maybe it’s fun, but not for people who actually enjoy the challenge of games
@@HistoryEvolves You have no clue what you are talking about. Do you even play Chel? Do you understand he's referring to how easy it is to pull this move off with the new total control settings? Just don't comment if you know nothing at all 🤡
Or how about this? Not everyone who plays the game plays online…some just play for fun. And like to be able to pull off moves they can’t in real life…because it’s a game…
It’s the same game but with some improvements to hitting, passing, goaltender ai, goaltender actual gameplay when you play as them is changed. I’m definitely missing some stuff but this is the most they have changed in an nhl game in a long time. Didn’t they add stuff to franchise mode too. The game sorta always falls off slowly but I’m not sure why you think this game in specific will be so bad. I quite like that they are deciding to do fucken something different. Try to appreciate that.
@juiceboxer100people get so triggered when I said the same thing. There was a massive change last year after the first few weeks. NHL 23 was such a different game.
@@thelifeofchrisrocketthe first few weeks of 23 were THE BEST the gameplay felt. Size mattered, guys who were fast couldn’t just blow by every time, large forwards like Nelson were useable. Then they made the game shit to pander to the “pros” and streamers. Hopefully they make this go from garbage to fun. Actually do something good. That’s unlike EA tho.
@@ovechkinfan111ya nhl 23 was so good when my ais get a penalty a game playing eashl stop glazing ea they physically cannot make a solid game and literally never update their shit took 4 months for Jon jones to be champ in ufc 4💀
I feel the same way as a goalie, all the work I put in over the years just to get scored on cause of tether, glitchy deflections, or going up against deke shots 50 times a game cause their all one button now, shits awful
The game is good lowkey. The total control button layout is awful though. Totally ruins the game and allows for people to just cheese a Michigan perfectly every time by just clicking a button. Idk why they thought that was a good idea
@@Kingggmann that’s fair, I can respect that. Just why did they have to make that one of the button dekes this year, it makes no sense 😂 The fact that ppl can just press a button and do it perfectly is ridiculous given that on skill stick it requires 4 different buttons to be pressed in sequence and done in perfect timing or else it doesn’t work. Skill stick takes hours of practice to get it down while Total control is able to press the button and then sit back and wait for the goal lol it’s total fucking trash. Respect to you though for not abusing it like the other clowns who try it 6+ times a game. Overall though I love the game, it’s just horrible that they need to eliminate the skill gap so much to entice the average player. Instead of making people take the time to learn shit, they just make it easier so the noobs feel like they have skill 😂
I dunno why EA added "cheap" controls for doing dekes. It ruins the game for people who want to play against skilled players. It's like playing Call of Duty, where people have aim assist.
As a hockey fan/goalie, and a gamer. I dont need my games to be impossible and enjoy doing things I cant irl. So long as shots like that are blockable one way or another, and it isnt abused I could careless. I play everyday and I havent seen one person use it.
I bought nhl 24 after years of only playing 16 for years and I’ve had a lot of fun really haven’t noticed anything wrongI noticed the fixed some things and had the Michigan downgraded
I had a match in BUT where I got 3 Michigans scored against me in a game that otherwise would’ve been a 1 goal game, it was rough Because of my playstyle I’m good at blocking lanes & not letting good quality shots get off. But when you can just Michigan it yikes…. Thankfully I’ve only had it happen with that 1 player because otherwise it would screw my strategy of protecting the passing lanes while also not letting the player come around & get a shot off
Hate this game. I’ve never complained about the new games but this one is impressively underwhelming and felt like they changed the only aspects of the game that made it enjoyable. Now it’s unplayed, this really will be the last nhl i buy until major improvements are shown at release
@@hyzerithe Michigan is hella hard to learn on skill stick. It actually requires like 3-4 buttons to be pressed in perfect sequence and with perfect timing or else you don’t get it off the ice. But pressing triangle or Y just automatically does it all for you. Plus it’s a goal damn near every time 😂 agree on the between the legs and tuck though those are easier but still there shouldn’t be scoring dekes mapped to one button, it’s dumb. Using skill stick you still fuck those up every once in a while but pressing the button does it perfect every time. Eliminating the skill gap, it’s dumb
Did you buy it? I was thinking about it the other day but tuners seem broken like the past 10 editions. The game became garbage after NHL 2014. Maybe im being nostalgic but the gameplay has been horrendous and rewards bad teamplay.
