In May 2023 I moved back to my small home town. We've lived in and around this town for generations going back to at least the 1700's. I've ended my career as a makeup artist, and am now focusing on writing a book and painting, other than ordinary life duties. Just a week after I moved back my friends and I went out for dinner, it wasn't very pleasant, but it had it's moments. When I went to the bar to pay I saw a man I recognized. Long dark hair in a pony tail, sipping on his screw driver. I greeted him, and he recognized me. We just exchanged a few words but I instantly felt "I like Jimmy". I thought about him and wanted to see him again so we could exchange numbers, since I don't have social media. About a week later I rode my bike back home from a small adventure. Since that day, around the 17th of May, we have been entangled in some sort of situationship. One night we acted like lovers, it was a smooth ride. We kissed in public, he gave me compliments and I followed him home. He told me he was in love with me, and he said "I love you". This was too soon for me, so I didn't say it back, however I felt it in my whole body. My intention was to reciprocate within a short time span, but before I could do that, he humiliated me in front of his friends and family by saying "I didn't mean what I said". I stormed out, breaking glasses on my way. We've been on and off, but mostly off. I keep my distance since I've had my mind and soul broken by someone else before him, I have to be careful. I blocked him for a few months when I noticed that everything would be on his conditions and he never wanted to talk, just f*ck. I eventually unblocked him, since the burden was to heavy to bear. He was happy about it. But not much is changing, just details telling me that he cares. He stole my underwear and lies about it. I think it's not a pervert thing, I think he wants something of mine to be close to, if I may be so bold. But now I've given up on him, the only thing I can hope for, is that he will understand that reciprocity is needed, whether it is with me or someone else. I told him NO, firmly, when he wanted to see me just a week ago. I wrote "You make me unhappy, because I love you. I am not yours to use, I don't want this kind of relationship-only on your terms, I want to be alone and you can find someone else to use as a fleshlight". I am taking my physical presence out of the equation, because it only causes problems, especially for me. I have no hope of him, but looking forward to solitude and meeting someone who might reciprocate in the future. If he does open up, that will be enough to keep a friendship. If he would want a relationship, I would say "Start by replying within 24 hours, stop wanting the upper hand, and start telling me how you feel about me". If he can do that for a couple of months, I would consider. But he is heavily avoidant.

I never listen to tarots! I don’t even really believe in them!! But for some reason I watched this and it actually resonates a lot. Last month I decided to stop communicating with my ex and father of my youngest son. Just to let him come forward. He left and moved away almost two years ago now.
