A tribute to your sadly missing friend. Looking at how that plane flew, he was a true "old school" builder. Foamies are great and durable, but theres nothing like the feeling of building one on a plan with strips of balsa, sanding, gluing, etc etc and then taking the completed item to the field for that maiden flight. Another great video Robert and Blaz, great flying too. Big thumbs up :0)
What a truly beautiful video, and a very touching tribute , and testament to old school aero modelling , and I hope you both enjoy many happy flights with these lovely old models in the future 👍
This is exactly why you guys have such loyal followers. You take the time to honor those friends and vets that have contributed to this great hobby and freedom. No act - just plain and simple from the heart videos. Thanks for sharing with us. Russ
Captain Blaz this is by far the best video you guys have put out. When I started flying 50 years ago, I was thought how to fly by a friend of mine that created planes like the one your friend built and who is sadly passed. I can picture myself standing beside you with a warm tea in my hand and watching you fly this model would definitely bring tears to my eyes. Now a days everything is made for you and are not one of a king. I still have many of the models I have built and still fly them today. Captain Robert a friend presented me with a birthday present this summer at my private field. In the box there was the exact Captain Hat and glasses you always wear. Every time I put this special Hat on I feel that you and your brother are standing beside me. Thank you for all the JOY you guys bring to ME and all the fellow modelers around the world.
I am new to your u tube channal enjoying your friendly commentaries of both of you. Now I am 70 years old and enjoying your field trials and flying, with my close friend Ramu ,he is good pilot and i am a good builder of aero models in 1970.Thanks, two of you to regain my past memories of glorious aero modeling days. Keep up your good , enjoyable modeling work.

Blaz amen. I shed a tear for you guys. The most beautiful sunset of any of your videos ever. I was the President of my RC Club in middle school. I had pain with my first Cox .49 motor, and I still love glow. Blaz is the man, and I love how he is a champion of small engines. Keep it up brothers. I speak russian and english. I am a kite flyer, and now I may click on something eh?!
What a super nice trainer glow plug plane creation....congrats to the former builder....and congrats for the nice aviation performance of Cpt.Blaz....thank u guys for a big smile on my face....
This movie was full of love. Love for flying, love of old planes, and love of friends both living and dead. This is video #1 in my book! Thanks for sharing.
This is wonderful.it really takes me back to my childhood flying every weekend with my dad.we didn't have fancy equipment like we have today.well done guys thanks for bringing back the memories
What a wonderful tribute! I love this video. Salute to Capt Blaz for honoring Darko. I love glow planes and thrilled to see Darko's plane flying again.
Big respect to your late friend I am sure he will be looking down on you two with a big smile on his face and thank you for making my day BIG BIG respect from Tim in UK
Flawless , Beautiful tribute gentlemen . I watched this again and I must say this model was built to exact specifications. The incidence was perfect, the elevator and rudder are 90° it tacked through the air like a hot knife through soft butter. What an amazing model plane.
I hope someone does a tribute flight with all my scorpio models when I am gone... I still have not built my super miss, but I am going to soon! thank you for the video.... your cinematographer was perfect!
Electric foamies made the hobby accessible to many people who would otherwise not have the time or inclination to build r/c planes. However, nothing flies better than a balsa air-frame covered in MonoKote or silk, because they are so rigid and light. And then some of us like Capt. Blas just really enjoy tinkering with the nitro engines. It adds to the challenge. Very enjoyable video!
This is really nice thing to do. And the plane is a testament to the person who rebuilt it. FP engines were so good. I had two. 25 and 40. The 40 I still have. *Salute*
This is a great thing Captain Blaz, I SALUTE you! It sure looks like he was a great craftsman. Building that charger really shows you how things were done back in the day. Thank you to both of you for another great video and for honoring your friend is such a cool way!
Salute Captain. Always liked smaller plane and even better if ic engine powered. Liked your fluing field and salute to your camera man too doing a great job. Bravo!
Much respect to Darko for his awesome building skills and electronics skills. And much respect to Cap'n Blaz for such a beautiful tribute to his friend and for such a perfect flight. Oh, and also now you have a 2-stroke engine that runs perfect.
Capt.Blaz great flying and tribute in honor of your friend that is awesome. The talent your friend used in build of planes is impeccably perfection. Thanks for the video keep flying you guys. Just having fun RC'n. And a salute to your friend from us here at hillbillyrcn in U.S. THanks
Another enjoyable video, and a fitting tribute to your departed flying buddy. The OS FP 15 is one of my favorite engines, I use them on several of my old timer models. Thanks for sharing!
you are flying a one of a kind tribute to a great friend who Loved Capt BLAZ enough to leave his fortune to and it is great to see that you are enjoying your fortune. I SALUTE FROM SEDRO WOOLLEY WA. OHHH YEAH!!!! 😎
Very nice tribute to you late friend,he must have been a special person for him to have made such an impression on you guys! His work with the rc planes and electronics is something we don't see enough of anymore.I love the foam electrics too,but a guy still needs to have a balsa and glow airplane to fly once in a while, that's what real rc plane flying is all about,Oh Yeah!! That is a fine looking airplane that flies excellent, and that landing was really nice Captain Blaz! Pilot Robert, you are just as good with the camera as you are with the rc transmitter!! Great job, cheers!!
That is going to be a very interesting collection of old school RC planes to see. WOW, that gentleman got his license in 1954, that was the year I was born.
Blaz, your good friend Darko did a great job on rebuilding that plane. Ah I love the smell of Nitro in the morning! Or the evening! once you have that smell, you never forget it. It brings back glorious times BEFORE RC. The control line dog fights with the Voodoo, and used an old ink bladder from a fountain pen so you had pressurized fuel for the flying combat missions. And if you crashed, you said, boy's I'll be back! Add you were, and that's way BEFORE Arnold Schwarzenegger coined that frase.Ah those were the day's. And even im the mid to late 60's, we were paying Almost $10 a gallon for Missile Mist
I am very happy you make such a tribute to this fella that you remember and obviously respect. Also, I started building in 1975 and I will not be offended at the old timer remarks, ay.
Salute.... I never saw your friend out there on the fields, but I'm sure he's with you everyday Captain Blaz. What a beautiful Scorpio "Super Miss" Creation and flight.
That's an awesome tribute to great friend and an even great modeller. We can all say this hobby is missing a piece to the puzzle now that your friend Darko has passed on. It's nice to see you guys are keeping his memory and passion for the hobby alive. Double salute to you gents
What a beautiful landing!! So much respect for your friend who is sadly no longer with us but did such a nice job of repairing that model. Thanks for another great video and happy flying!!
This is a sweet airplane & I know your friend is watching from above !! I really like the repair to the cabin ,, that’s awesome Capt. Blãz real nice job he did. Thanks for the show Pilot Robert 👍🏻 Great and entertaining as always ✌🏼
Love to see some old stuff still flying, salute to you guys and Dago(dont how to spell it) RIP. He is sitting somewhere and follow with a big smile. Max
